My Actifit Report Card: December 9 2020
I headed out in the late afternoon for a quick nine basket round at the easy local course.  Three of my buddies were just teeing off when I got there so I jumped in for a round.  It was awfully wet after raining for most of the day.

I think I ended up with around a +2.  Not sure what others were doing we were not really focused on keeping score.

One of us was a beginner with only a few weeks of practice.  He had a serious shank and almost got his disc run over by the paving crew working on the edge of the road in the out of bounds area.  Luckily one of the workers picked it up and tossed it over to the sidewalk before the asphalt roller ran it over.

I was having some issues getting a good grip on my putter with all the water and no rag.  I was just playing with three discs.

I used the Axiom _Crave_ as my main disc this evening to get a better feel for it.  I really like it.  It flys very straight and feels good in the hand.  It is a lighter weight 165 gram disc with speed 6.5, glide 5, turn -1, and fade 1 ratings.  I let my friend throw it too because he was really impressed with the flight.  He also liked it a lot and parked a basket for a birdie on the first throw and then thought he might have to get one.

I'm really starting to like slower speed fairway drivers more and more.  The straight flight and not as much fade works great if the disc is stable enough to throw hard.

My favorite part was the explanation of how to cure your body aches by focusing on what feels good and spreading out that feeling.  (This is my paraphrasing - he says it better on the video.)

We have been getting some nice sun rises as well as sunsets. Only good thing about these "short" daylight days is that it is much easier to see both!

It is easy to be up in the morning with the rising sun for sure.  There is not a lot of daylight this time of year though.  The winter sky can be pretty dramatic at times around here.
