Essential launcher is an open source android lunched used to beautified your phone. It so Small in size with just 30kb which can be downloaded here(Essential Launcher (A very minimal launcher) - https://f-droid.org/app/de.clemensbartz.android.launcherurl)
It has no ads,very fast and easy to use. Also it has some awesome features like
* Transparent background
* LTR as well as RTL support
* Accessibility enabled and some many more
But has awesome the app is and some features in it mentioned above, there still more features to be added to this app by the developer. Also I tried to add some app to my phone home screen or desktop while using the app but it was quite unfortunate I couldn't...
#### Proposal
Which I'm using this medium to suggest that the Send to desktop or add to home screen feature should be added to this app to make it more effective for user and also serve as to beautified the launcher home screen rather then just bored plain home screen.. This mean user would be able to add their favorite,most used app or any app they which to add to there phone home screen from there phone app menu....
#### Mockups / Examples
This is a pic of the app with out this feature or inability to add apps to it home screen..
So instead of giving users an empty home screen, the developers should include an option in the app menu to "add to home screen" any application the user wishes to add. The pic below shows the app menu options with out the "add to home screen" feature 
So when the feature is added to the app menu options it will look like this 
After this option is been clicked users can customize their home screen as they please: 
#### Benefits
This "add to home screen " feature would serve as a benefit to the app users in the sense that
* this will prevent from using the home screen bored and blank
* Also serve as an additional ways for user to beautified there home screen also as a short cut if there are to use any of the app at the home screen
