DIY Off Grid PowerWall Update: Waiting on a transformer....

We're waiting on the thing shown above, a 10000 w stepdown transformer.  See for efficiency purposes we're building our bigger main system 48DCV, which will put out 230ACV single phase which is what Europe and many other parts of the world use . This stepdown transform kicks the power down so we can still use American style appliances that run at 115ACV on this system.

Sounds like you will have a very nice system. 48V main systems are definitely  more efficient. I can't wait to build a larger solar setup myself.
