"Una mujer entera tiene las costumbres de la salvación", leí una vez en algún lugar y desde entonces hice nido en esa frase, porque justo buscando eso creé de este oficio, no siempre agradecido, mi costumbre más fiel. Escribir es mi forma de exorcisar demonios. 

> "An entire woman has the customs of salvation", I read once somewhere and since then I have nested in that phrase, because just looking for that I created of this trade, not always grateful, my most faithful custom. Writing is my way of exorcising demons.

Lisbeth Lima Hechavarría, ese es mi nombre. Tengo 27 años (aunque es relativo, tan relativo como el traje de ánimo diario que me ponga) y soy escritora cubana. Es la profesión que decidí priorizar en este momento de mi vida, pese a ser también Licenciada en Biología y especialista en Antropología Física. Me gradué de la Facultad de Ciencias Naturales y Exactas en la Universidad de Oriente de Santiago de Cuba, mi ciudad natal y donde vivo actualmente. Trabajé tres años como bióloga en un Centro de Ciencias y comencé mis estudios de Máster en Antropología Física en la prestigiosa Universidad de La Habana. Aunque continúo con mis estudios de maestría, decidí dedicarme por completo a la literatura, esa otra profesión que he llevado siempre a la par. 

> Lisbeth Lima Hechavarría, that's my name. I am 27 years old (although that is relative, as relative as the daily outfit I wear) and I am a Cuban writer. It is the profession that I decided to prioritize at this moment in my life, despite also having a degree in pure Biology and specializing in Physical Anthropology. I graduated from the Faculty of Natural and Exact Sciences at the Universidad de Oriente in Santiago de Cuba, my hometown and where I currently live. I worked for three years as a biologist in a Science Center and began my Master's studies in Physical Anthropology at the University of Havana. Although I continue with my master's studies, I decided to dedicate myself completely to literature, that other profession that I always carried along.

Escribir, leer, estudiar, no es para mí trabajo, ni pasatiempo, son necesidades inmediatas, un modo de vida que disfruto y aprovecho mucho, que ya casi forma parte de mi sistema autónomo. Escribo todo el tiempo sin escribir, con tan solo salir a caminar basta, las palabras van amontonándose y cogiendo forma por sí solas. No siempre necesito la hoja en blanco frente a mí. Pero, sobre todo, me aseguro de tener qué contar. De acumular experiencias de vida para nutrir mis percepciones del mundo, enriquecer mis puntos de vista y para ello me divierto. Me hago feliz. Me doy mucho amor. 

> Writing, reading, studying is not work or hobby for me, they are immediate needs, a way of life that I enjoy and take advantage of a lot, which is almost part of my autonomous system. I write all the time without writing, just going for a walk is enough, the words are piling up and taking shape by themselves. I don't always need the blank sheet in front of me. But above all, I make sure I have something to tell. To accumulate life experiences to nurture my perceptions of the world, enrich my points of view and for that I have fun. I make myself happy. I give myself a lot of love.

Viajar es una de mis pasiones; si tuviese que hacer un Top 3 de las cosas que más me retroalimentan, diría que: viajar, conocer personas, casi siempre de los modos más inverosímiles que puedan imaginar, y siendo atrevida, muy atrevida. Desafiarme constantemente es una tarea diaria en mi agenda. Pero bueno, les hablaba de pasiones y cabe entonces mencionar que bailar es otra de ellas. Me libera, dejo escapar todo lo que pueda agobiarme mientras muevo el cuerpo como si me estuvieran picando un millón de abejas. La música también vive en mí, así ha sido siempre. Comencé en el arte por ahí, me gradué de guitarra en la escuela de música Lauro Fuentes y de niña estuve un tiempo en el Coro Orfeón Santiago, dirigido por el maestro Electo Silva. De ese modo entonces les revelo mi otra gran pasión: cantar. Pero la literatura me hizo suya de a poco y la música ha quedado para amortiguar junto a las letras mis más terribles guerras. 

> Traveling is one of my passions; If I had to make a Top 3 of the things that give me the most feedback, I would say: traveling, meeting people, almost always in the most unlikely ways you can imagine, and being daring, very daring. Constantly challenging myself is a daily task on my schedule. But hey, I was talking about passions and it is worth mentioning that dancing is another of them. It frees me, I let out everything that can overwhelm me while I move my body as if a million bees were stinging me. Music also lives in me, that's how it always has been. I started in art there, I graduated in guitar at the Lauro Fuentes music school and as a child I spent some time in the Orfeón Santiago Choir, directed by maestro Electo Silva. That way then I reveal my other great passion: singing. But literature made me its own little by little and music has remained to muffle my most terrible wars along with the lyrics.

Mis premisas en la vida son: hacer el bien sin esperar nada a cambio, la bondad no hace ruido porque camina con el corazón descalzo, es lo que intento siempre recordar; respetar, el respeto en todos los sentidos es la base para sustentar relaciones humanas sólidas; no albergar sentimientos que me carcoman el espíritu; e intentar que la sinceridad condicione todo cuanto haga en mi vida. Así que, amigos, está soy yo, esto es todo cuanto tengo para ofrecer. Espero serles útil de alguna forma, y si lo útil se torna agradable, pues, habré sentido que mi obra del día fue hecha. ¡Les abrazo hondamente!

> My premises in life are: do good without expecting anything in return, kindness does not make noise because it walks with its heart barefoot, that is what I always try to remember; respect, respect in all senses is the basis for sustaining solid human relationships; not harbor feelings that eat away at my spirit; and try that the sincerity conditions everything that I do in my life. So folks, this is me, this is all I have to offer. I hope to be useful to you in some way, and if the useful becomes pleasant, well, I will  have felt that my work for the day was done.
