Olá pessoal! Hoje vim trazer o primeiro de muitos Tibia Tales. Tibia é um dos jogos que mais gostei de jogar, ele divide o topo da lista junto com alguns outros MMO, Zelda e SuperMetroid. Mas dentre os meus preferidos Tibia é o único que continuo sempre tendo vontade de voltar. Isso acontece pelo simples motivo que o jogo continua sendo atualizado e se modificando constantemente não só trazendo pequenas coisas novas mas trazendo toda uma dinâmica diferente a jogabilidade, além de sempre mudar os mapas através de eventos e quests com um numero tão grande que eu duvido que qualquer personagem dentro do jogo tenha todas elas feitas.

Então nesse post além do vídeo da minha primeira gameplay nesse servidor novo, que lançou hoje, vou falar um pouco sobre o Tibia, sobre a hunt que fiz o vídeo, sobre o personagem Lara Onchain e sobre a mecânica de bestiário. Espero a cada vídeo trazer algo por escrito que ajude novos jogadores a aprender um pouco sobre o jogo.

## O que é Tibia afinal?

Bom Tibia é um dos ossos da perna é claro, mas não é dessa Tibia que estamos falando, e sim do jogo da empresa CipSoft que foi lançado em 1997 e de lá pra cá **MUITA** coisa mudou no jogo. O estilo do jogo é um MMORPG que mesmo se mantendo fiel ao seu estilo original consegue inovar todo ano em seus "summer e winter update". 

A empresa mantei servidores oficiais que são divididos entre varios tipos de servidores PVP e um servidor "OptionalPvP" que é o famoso non-pvp dos MMO mas eles chamam de opcional porque existem algumas formas de duelo que permitem pvp consentido, mas não aquele PvP que você embosca o inimigo q mata ele sem ele nem ao menos ver você chegando.

Além disso a empresa alemão tem servidores na europa, america do norte e america do sul. Os servidores da america do sul se localizam no Brasil e por isso tem seus nomes terminados em BRA e o servidor que iremos jogar nessa serie de publicações "Tibia Tales" será  "Yubra" o servidor que acabou de ser lançado hoje 14/02 por volta das 8AM BRT.

## Yubra e familia Onchain

Um dos personagens que irei usar para essa serie é Lara Onchain, o nome Lara é uma homenagem a minha filha que está para nascer em maio, e Onchain é o nome que decidi usar como "nome de família" no servidor Yubra. Todo servidor em que jogo escolho um segundo nome para identificar meus personagens e por algum motivo Onchain foi a palavra que me veio a cabeça na hora que estava criando o personagem.

Então ao menos por enquanto teremos a Royal Paladin Lara Onchain que no momento que escrevo esse post está no lvl15 após completar o bestiário de Swamp Troll. E veremos também nessa serie um Elite Knight chamado Lipe Onchain. Caso aqueles que acompanhem a serie queiram ver algum druida ou sorcerer posso fazer mais alguns Onchain. :)

## Bestiário

O Bestiário é uma das mecânicas do Tibia que mais gosto. Ao matar um monstro pela primeira vez ele aparece no seu registro de monstros com apenas informações básicas como nome da criatura e coisas sem importância. Conforme você vai acumulando mortes da mesma criatura você vai aumentando o numero no seu bestiário e quando alcança uma certa marca libera mais informações sobre a criatura especifica.

Existem 3 etapas pra concluir no bestiário, se você completar as 3 ganha Charm Points que servem pra comprar runas, mas delas falaremos outro dia. Tanto a quantidade de monstros necessárias para liberar a próxima etapa, quanto a quantidade de charm points recebido variam de acordo com a força e raridade da criatura. Algumas criaturas extremamente raras chegam a liberar 50 charm points com apenas 5 mortes, enquanto criaturas realmente poderosas mas comuns em áreas de level alto podem liberar até 100 pontos com 5mil mortes da mesma criatura, pode levar bastante tempo pra desbloquear essas.

No caso do Bestiário do vídeo de hoje foi uma criatura de nível *Fácil* que exige 500mortes para completar o bestiário e libera 15 charm points.

## Inicio de server e escolhas

Começar em um server novo é sempre legal e empolgante, mas tem seus prós e contras. Os prós é que o server está cheio então é cheio de possibilidades de boas interações e criar novas amizades e grupos de caças, o preço da Tibia Coin é barato no inicio do server então para aqueles que querem farmar pra vender moedas é uma grande oportunidade de lucro, começar no mesmo patamar que todos pode ser divertido e aqueles mais competitivos podem ter algumas chance de chegar ao topo ou perto dele(mas certamente não chegarão sem investir alguns tibia coins e ao menos 5horas por dia.rs).

O outro lado da moeda é que server cheio tem menos das hunts boas livres, nos primeiros dias especialmente você acaba sendo obrigado a dividir as hunts com varios jogadores porque tem mais jogadores que hunts low lvl "fáceis" disponíveis. A velocidade de movimento dos bonecos em lvl baixo é irritante e demora pra chegar nos lugares. Além disso as hunts mais divertidas começam em lvl mais alto e não tem chefes no inicio pra você matar e ter a emoção de um bom drop.

A minha escolha de classe foi RP porque é uma classe que é possível jogar solo em varias hunts legais e como vocês puderam ver as vezes eu preciso parar do nada pra ajudar em casa e isso em uma pt atrapalha muito e torna inviável achar um time pra caçar. O EK é pelo mesmo motivo e só não é minha primeira opção porque embora eu já tenha jogado com as 2 classes sou bem melhor de RP mesmo estando enferrujado.

## What is Tibia anyway?

Well, Tibia is one of the bones in the leg, of course, but it's not Tibia that we're talking about, it's the CipSoft game that was launched in 1997 and since then **a lot** has changed in the game. The style of the game is an MMORPG which, while remaining faithful to its original style, manages to innovate every year in its "summer and winter updates". 

The company maintains official servers which are divided into various types of PVP servers and an "OptionalPvP" server which is the famous non-pvp of MMOs but they call it optional because there are some forms of dueling that allow consensual pvp, but not that PvP where you ambush the enemy and kill him without him even seeing you coming.

The German company also has servers in Europe, North America and South America. The servers in South America are located in Brazil, which is why their names end in BRA, and the server we'll be playing on in this series of "Tibia Tales" posts will be "Yubra", the server that was just launched today, February 14, at around 8AM BRT.

## Yubra and the Onchain family

One of the characters I'm going to use for this series is Lara Onchain, the name Lara is a tribute to my daughter who is due to be born in May, and Onchain is the name I decided to use as a "family name" on the Yubra server. Every server I play on I choose a second name to identify my characters and for some reason Onchain was the word that came to mind when I was creating the character.

So at least for now we'll have Royal Paladin Lara Onchain, who at the time of writing is at lvl 15 after completing the Swamp Troll bestiary. And we'll also see an Elite Knight called Lipe Onchain in this series. If those of you who follow the series would like to see a druid or sorcerer, I can make some more Onchain. :)

## Bestiary

The Bestiary is one of Tibia's favorite mechanics. When you kill a monster for the first time, it appears in your monster log with only basic information such as the creature's name and unimportant things. As you accumulate kills of the same creature you increase the number in your bestiary and when you reach a certain mark you release more information about the specific creature.

There are 3 stages to complete in the bestiary, if you complete all 3 you earn Charm Points which are used to buy runes, but we'll talk about them another day. Both the number of monsters needed to clear the next stage and the amount of charm points you receive vary according to the strength and rarity of the creature. Some extremely rare creatures can unlock 50 charm points with just 5 kills, while really powerful creatures that are common in high level areas can unlock up to 100 points with 5,000 kills of the same creature.

In the case of the Bestiary in today's video, it was an *Easy* level creature that requires 500 kills to complete the bestiary and unlocks 15 charm points.

## Server start and choices



Starting on a new server is always nice and exciting, but it has its pros and cons. The pros are that the server is full so it's full of possibilities for good interactions and creating new friendships and hunting groups, the price of Tibia Coin is cheap at the beginning of the server so for those who want to farm to sell coins it's a great opportunity to profit, starting at the same level as everyone else can be fun and those who are more competitive may have some chance of reaching the top or close to it (but they certainly won't get there without investing a few tibia coins and at least 5 hours a day.lol).

The other side of the coin is that a full server has less of the good hunts available, especially in the first few days you end up having to share hunts with several players because there are more players than "easy" low lvl hunts available. The movement speed of the dolls at low lvl is annoying and it takes a long time to get to places. What's more, the most fun hunts start at a higher lvl and there are no bosses at the beginning for you to kill and get the thrill of a good drop.

My choice of class was RP because it's a class that you can play solo on a lot of cool hunts and as you've seen, sometimes I need to stop out of the blue to help out around the house and that in a pt gets in the way a lot and makes it unfeasible to find a team to hunt with. EK is for the same reason and it's just not my first choice because although I've played with both classes I'm much better at RP even though I'm rusty.
