This is Friday, September 18th, 2020  and my day #136 of Erik Gustafsson's @flaxz  
#IAmAliveChallenge -- #HiveIsAlive

So this Sunday night will be the first time my Dad will be alone in the house since my Mom passed away. The last month has been a flurry of activity for him with my sisters and I being around after the funeral.  But now he will be really alone and I am concerned for him. I guess he probably needs that time to himself. I also think he wants to stay a little independent. Our parents always talked about not being a burden on their children financially or otherwise.  One of the last things my Mom said to me before she could no longer speak was to tell me to take care of Dad.  I think she just meant don't make him be alone too much. We won't! He will probably tell us to let him be once in awhile.

Erik, who is known as @flaxz on the blockchain, started this challenge to provide those of us who are taking it on with an opportunity to embrace gratitude for being alive and able to be here thriving on Hive during this crazy time around the world. It is also a great way to practice consistency for growing our businesses and brands online here on the blockchain and other places on the internet.
