 **Welcome to my blog** It had been a long time since I recycled and transformed into new objects, today I bring you some cute keychains made with colored cowhide leather cutouts. I got this type of leather because I have a compadre who has a saddlery and they use the leather there to make different objects for the horses. He always votes on these cuts and one day he took out a big sack and asked him for some pieces of different colors. I was motivated to make some keychains, especially dog footprints, since my children love dogs and even more so a puppy that has won the hearts of many on the block where I live. I tell you that even though they look simple they are laborious in the leather cuts. Here I will show you the step by step of these keychains # Materials Cowhide leather scraps of different colors Scissors Ballpoint dog footprint pattern silicone small metal hoops String keychain rings  # Step by Step # Step 1 The first thing is to cut out the pattern to be able to transfer the figure on the pieces of leather  # Step 2 The base of the dog footprint is traced with the help of a black pen   # Step 3 Then, with the help of scissors, I cut little by little. The leather is a bit hard despite being cowhide. They can also cut with an exact or cutter.  # Step 4 Already here the base of the footprint is ready  # Step 5 Then take the other pieces of leather to trace the figure of the footprint  # Step 6 Trace in the same way as the previous one and cut  # Step 7 Here both pieces are ready to proceed to assemble the keychain  # Step 8 With hot silicone he was pasting the footprints on both bases   # Step 9 Here we are already seeing how the keychain is going  # Step 10 With the help of a nail I proceeded to make a hole in the upper part, as you can see in the photograph  # Step 11 Add a metal ring and then the chain and seal the ring  # Step 12 At the top place the large ring where the keys can be hung. Este tipo de cuero los obtuve ya que tengo un compadre que tiene una talabartería y allí usan el cuero para realizar diferentes objetos para los caballos. Estos recortes el siempre los vota y un día saco un gran saco y le pedí unos trozos de diferentes colores. Me motive a realizar unos llaveros en especial de las pisadas de perro ya que a mis hijos les encanta los perros y mas un perrito que se ha ganado el corazón de muchos en la cuadra donde vivo. Les cuento que a pesar de que se ven sencillos son trabajosos en los cortes del cuero. Aquí te mostrare el paso a paso de estos llaveros # Materiales Retazos de cuero vaqueta de diferentes colores Tijera Bolígrafo Patrón de huella de perro Silicón Aros pequeños de metal Cadena Aros de llaveros  # Paso a paso # Paso 1 Lo primero es recortar el patrón para poder transferir la figura en los trozos de cuero  # Paso 2 Se traza la base de la huella de perro con ayuda de un bolígrafo negro   # Paso 3 Después con ayuda de la tijera fui cortando poco a poco. EL cuero es un poco duro a pesar de ser vaqueta. También pueden cortar con un exacto o cuter.  # Paso 4 Ya aquí lista la base de la huella  # Paso 5 Después tome los otros trozos de cuero para trazar la figura de la pisada  # Paso 6 Trace de igual manera que la anterior y corte  # Paso 7 Ya aquí listo ambas piezas para proceder a armar el llavero  # Paso 8 Con silicón caliente fue pegando las pisadas en ambas bases   # Paso 9 Aquí ya vamos viendo como nos va quedando el llavero  # Paso 10 Con ayuda de un clavo procedí a realizar un orificio en la parte de arriba, así como lo ven en la fotografía  # Paso 11 Incorpore una argolla de metal y posteriormente la cadena y selle la argolla  # Paso 12 En la parte de arriba coloque la argolla grande donde se pueden colgar las llaves.   De esta manera realice estos lindos llaveros con un cuero que iba a ser desechado y lo convertí en algo útil, como lo es unos lindos llaveros para colocar las llaves de la casa.
