On the temple flowers grew wild
Along the old path into the woods
Beneath the dripping shapes and forms
Where rain and sunlight both
Roused fertile buds to blossom
Beside the ancient walls.

Sweet enchantments in the night hidden
Beneath the ground where roots in knots
Entangled webs did weave
Time erased the ever-flowing stream
In the eternal now of the bloom.

Feathered bird among the petals frolic
Bewitched by nectar and ambrosia
The silky embrace
Entwined with lace
Sighing softly under their caresses.
