Yes. It is more expensive than peanuts, but cheaper than cachew / almond / walnut; and my mom is now allergic to peanut. That's why I have to search for alternatives.

oh really? People here in my place plants sunsflowers for the flower alone., I guess they are not well educated that its seeds are beneficial too. its rare to have it here. cashews on the other hand, there is lots of trees here but its nuts were becoming few because some people won't even wait for it to mature. they roast it and eat it directly,

Oh I just learned that unripen cashews are actually toxic even though roasted. I do hope your community will realise that and let the tree's fruits finish its cycle for the sake of not being tiny bit poisoned.
