STOP IT! Stop what you're doing right now!

I feel as if I NEED to give people a lesson about the differences between a DISLIKE button (that STEEMIT does not provide) and a FLAG button. I did a recent blog about this and I still CAN NOT believe people are still not understanding.

 So I will break it down in DUMMY terms. 

Have you been using the FLAG button as a way of telling the blogger you did not like it? Well, you've been using it ALL WRONG! This button is not for this reaction. The button is ONLY used to let other's know that the blog is either ILLEGAL, INAPPROPRIATE, and doesn't fall into STEEMIT guidelines/rules. 

This is the ONLY time the FLAG button should ever be used.

Now, for those that use the FLAG button as a FLAG button without good cause of flagging the blog in the first place, you are a BIGOT. And you don't belong here @ STEEMIT.

NOTE:

People spend a good amount of time writing and blogging and setting it up perfectly for their readers. They don't need you lurking in the shadows ready to FLAG their blog. And literally, ONLY 2 minutes after the blog has been posted. Like, come on. Really? That didn't even give you enough time to READ what the post was about. How are you going to just FLAG it?

It's not fair to all the writers/bloggers who work HARD to get that blog up! We need to be respectful of others. I shouldn't EVEN have to say this. We are all grown adults and should act like one. I teach respect to my children. NOT ADULTS.


As for those who are using the FLAG button for a DISLIKE button, please STOP. This is not the CORRECT button for disliking a blog. Unfortunately, there are no DISLIKE buttons at the moment for you happy flagging clickers. Hopefully, in the near future, STEEMIT will consider having one. But in the meantime, PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THAT FLAG BUTTON unless it's ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
