I haven't done anything like this for quite a while.  It's got a bit of my brain working that hasn't had any exercise for a bit, so it's unexpectedly tiring.  But also exciting.  

It took a few false-starts at the beginning.  I'm not really fluent in any modern programming languages.  And I learned to code before there was a web, so some things are way easier than they used to be and other things seem quite confusing, but are actually quite simple.

I'm not going to talk about what it is, but I got the inspiration looking at my steemd.com page on Sunday night and then went through some rounds of just thinking and then scribbling and drawing diagrams and then finally getting my head around some Python.  

I'd forgotten that it's a bad idea to start coding something just after you've put the dinner on to cook (unless you've an assistant or a loud set of alarm bells) - so those chicken thighs are a little bit overdone, but man they taste so much better for having been marinaded in a "while" loop.
