Transfixed by Prime

I just got this feature for the first time today - not only the option to track a parcel from Amazon, but an alert that told me when the driver was 8 stops away.  Took this screenshot when they were 5 stops away.  Right now they're <strike>3 stops</strike> 2 stops away.  

I've been watching with great interest as the map updates every 30 seconds with the van's location. Actually too much interest.  I could have done a few things in the meantime, instead of obsessively staring at my phone, guessing where they're going to deliver to before they get to me.  

Given that it seems to take between five and ten minutes per delivery, I'd like to set the alert to 4 stops away rather than 8.  I'll dig around and see if I can find a setting for this.

PS I'm not too concerned about sharing the screenshot that shows where it's being delivered.  That's not my house, but it would be a good place to park nearby.  I probably reveal more about my location by posting geo-tagged photos and videos.

I just experienced this for the first time this week as well, I was ALREADY a compulsive over checker of tracking number status... I feel like this is dangerously enabling for someone like me haha

When I have tracking service with my parcel I usually (mostly unnecessarily) check the location of my courier like 50 times a day. It is like a compulsion that I can't seem to do anything about. At least you track it in real time and justify looking at the screen, while my updates are one liners like - 'reached...here' or 'departed........from' and except my sudden born OCD to look at that tid-bit of information I have no reason to even log in :-)

I've never gone for Prime as I don't want to be buying everything from Amazon, but they are convenient. I've given away my location with my running logs. It wouldn't be too hard to find it anyway.
