Un gusto mi querida comunidad de Motherhood estar de nuevo por acá después de unos percances normales del día a día que nos toca lidiar. Con cariño saludo a todos los que hacen vida por acá, madres, padres e hijos que con cariño comparten sus experiencias donde nos ayudamos para crecer en este maravilloso rol de padre. Hoy quiero compartirles lo esencial que es transmitir nuestras experiencias a nuestros hijos y no me refiero solo a la parte de valores, cosa indispensable, sino a lo referente a lo mecánico, con respecto a la parte de trabajo.

With affection I greet all who make life here, mothers, fathers and children who lovingly share their experiences where we help each other to grow in this wonderful role of parent. Today I want to share with you how essential it is to transmit our experiences to our children and I am not only referring to the part of values, which is indispensable, but also to the mechanical part, with respect to the work part.

Cómo padre queremos formar hijos que sean autosuficientes, que puedan resolver cualquier situación que se les presente, pero esto será una bonita realidad solo si ayudamos a nuestros pequeños a tal objetivo, y como padre estoy convencido que desde pequeño es necesario involucrar a nuestros hijos con respecto a lo que hacemos. En mi caso hablando de mi hijo Alexander trato de que siempre pueda ayudarme al hacer cualquier reparación que amerite nuestro hogar, de este modo tendrá un bonito aprendizaje al lado de su padre.
>As a father we want to form children who are self-sufficient, who can solve any situation that arises, but this will be a beautiful reality only if we help our children to that goal, and as a father I am convinced that from an early age it is necessary to involve our children with respect to what we do. In my case, talking about my son Alexander, I try to make sure that he can always help me when doing any repair that our home needs, so he will have a nice learning experience next to his father.

Un error que a mí criterio podemos cometer, es pensar que los niños son muy pequeños para ayudarnos, algo alejado de la realidad debido a que esa edad podemos inculcarles lo importante que es resolver cualquier asunto mecánico en casa, claro que es obvio que como padre jamás expuse a mi hijo Alexander a peligros, pero al estar presente al yo arreglar algo en casa me daba la oportunidad de irle dando a conocer cada herramienta que usaba y porque era la adecuada.
>A mistake that in my opinion we can make, is to think that children are too young to help us, something far from reality because that age we can instill in them how important it is to solve any mechanical issue at home, of course it is obvious that as a parent I never exposed my son Alexander to danger, but being present when I fix something at home gave me the opportunity to be giving him to know each tool I used and why it was the right one.

Un ejemplo de esto era al solucionar un problema eléctrico, estos momentos me daban la oportunidad de enseñarle el cuidado que debemos tener al ver un cable suelto, donde jamas se debe tocar y menos si se está descalzo a la hora de conectarlos y así iba explicándole que siempre debemos bajar la brequera para cortar la electricidad y de este modo cuidar nuestra vida algo que no es negociable.
>An example of this was when solving an electrical problem, these moments gave me the opportunity to teach him the care we must take when we see a loose wire, where you should never touch and less if you are barefoot when connecting them and so I was explaining that we must always lower the gate to cut the electricity and thus take care of our life something that is not negotiable.

Cómo padres seguro nadie quiere que sus hijos sean presa de la pereza, y cuando sean mayores logren valerse por sí mismo a la hora resolver un trabajo en casa y ser un buen cabeza de familia en caso de los varones, pero para esto es necesario involucrar a nuestros hijos en lo que hacemos y nos dará la oportunidad de pasar tiempo con ellos de calidad donde la confianza siempre crecerá.
>As parents, no one wants their children to fall prey to laziness, and when they are older they will be able to fend for themselves when it comes to solving a job at home and be a good head of the family in the case of boys, but for this it is necessary to involve our children in what we do and it will give us the opportunity to spend quality time with them where trust will always grow.

Cuando compartimos estos momentos, no solo les enseñaremos a reparar algo nuestros pequeños, son años de experiencia que les estaremos ahorrando y que a veces no se aprende en cierta literatura, y es que el conocimiento es algo que jamás se debe esconder, y menos a nuestros hijos, cosa que se grabará en su mente y corazón cuando pasan tiempo con sus padres a la vez que estaremos formando un hijo con la facilidad de resolver los problemas que se les presente.
