Why have a pet if not you can take care of it in basic matters, such as food, grooming, entertainment, walks?

Para mí, es imposible olvidar las imágenes de perros y gatos con gusaneras, edemas, llagas, hongos y todo tipo de enfermedades en la piel, además de golpes, fracturas, entre otros, lo cual habla de maldad extrema. Es por esa razón, es que cada vez que veo una mascota en la calle, pienso en una persona de mal corazón. ¿Qué más puedo pensar?¿Para qué tener una mascota sino puedes atenderla en cuestiones básicas, como alimentación, aseo, entretenimientos, paseos?

Por otro lado, así como hay gente que maltrata, golpea y mutila animalitos. Existe gente con un corazón tan grande, que les permite adoptar, cuidar, dar una mejor calidad de vida y sobre todo amar, a esos indefensos amigos de cuatro patas. Por ejemplo, puedo citar, a “Alejandra” una amiga de corazón muy noble, que junto a su madre adoptó un par de gatitas, una cuyas extremidades posteriores estaban en muy mal estado, y la otra sin visión en uno de sus ojitos, se han estado encargando de sus cirugías, cuidado, entre otros.

De igual forma, existen fundaciones y grupos altruistas, que se encargan de recoger a las mascotas, en situación de calle, evaluarlas medicamente, esterilizarlas, con aportes propios y de terceros, para luego colocarlos en hogares donde les den atención y cuidados. Puedo señalar, que hemos tenido todo tipo de animales: perros (de todas las razas), gatos, aves. La mayoría, de éstos rescatados de las calles, y las aves que llegan heridas a casa, sólo permanecen mientras mejoran porque es triste verles encerradas.

Les cuento que estaba sanito gracias a Dios, y para mi sorpresa, le gusta el agua, jugar con ella.

Looking back, all of them have given us much love, loyalty, joys and for that and many reasons, they will live forever in my heart. For us, an animal is a life partner, a Friend, and friends must be treated very well, filled with care and love. If so, we will be certain that we will be well rewarded with more love and loyalty.

Mirando en retrospectiva, todos ellos, nos han dado mucho, cariño, lealtad, alegrías y por esa y muchas razones, vivirán por siempre en mi corazón. Para nosotros, un animal es un compañero de vida, un Amigo, y a los amigos hay que tratarlos muy bien, llenarles de atenciones y amor. De ser así, estaremos ciertos que seremos bien retribuidos con más amor y lealtad.
