How to revoke posting permissions for steem apps via steemconnect

Third party steem applications like [busy.org](https://busy.org), [utopian.io](https://utopian.io) and other, but also [steemauto](https://steemauto.com) or [streemian](https://streemian.com) require the permission to post or vote "in your name". For that you have to provide your owner key once via steemconnect to grant this right to the steem application:

Each change triggers a `update_account_data` operation on the blockchain:

The list of currently authorized apps is visible for example via [steemd.com](https://steemd.com):

### However, not all applications provide a way to revoke this permission again.
This is where you can use steemconnect:

* go to https://v2.steemconnect.com/login and enter your credentials
* this brings you to the dashboard:

* go to "authorized apps" to see the list of your authorized apps:

* now click "Revoke" for the permission you want to be revoked

* You may be asked once again for your password and see a confirmation afterwards:

* checking back on steemd, you can now see another `update_account_data` operation and the selected permission is gone:

This does not seem to work anymore, how do I revoke access now? Have you tried lately? I am on safari and also I tried on the new desktop app, but no luck.

I’ve been using Steemconnect on Musing and dLike... however today upon trying to login, it doesn’t offer the option to click my usual account, but it starting from scratch asking for my username and key - which has never happened since I first input it months ago...

Explanation?

Wondering if this is anything to be concerned about, if there has been an app-wise reset, this is normal, etc...

any idea what the deal is?

For real: this type of narcissistically-altruistic judgementality is the kind of attitude in this community that makes me want to sell all my Steem and let this place burn to the ground.

After two years of producing exceptional quality content, receiving immense amounts of appreciative feedback for both the writing and *life-changing support* I’ve given others *for months* in the third-world through my votes, what do I get…? *Being called a “sucker.”*

As though *I don’t have the right to choose how to use the Steem Power I’VE EARNED **through serving the community.***

As though details don’t matter - that after over a year of giving **all** my voting power to give back, a decision to ensure *my bills are paid **first*** during a recession is somehow unjustified and worthy of condemnation.

*Such fucking arrogance displayed so casually slowly & steadily withers away what faith I have left in this platform - no appreciation or credit given where due, only premature, short-sighted, self-righteous bullshit.*
