¡Hola a todos! Queridos lectores, hoy me encuentro motivada a compartirles un poco sobre mi reunión familiar efectuada el día de ayer, por motivo de la celebración del cumpleaños de una de mis primas. En mi familia solemos reunirnos la mayoría del tiempo, ya sea por el cumpleaños de alguien o por alguna fecha festiva convencional como día de la madre, padre, navidades, pascuas, etc. Pero los cumpleaños de nuestros seres queridos son uno de los más frecuentados por todos, ya que nos es de mucho interés festejar el aniversario de vida de esa persona especial y hacerla sentir especial en su día, ya que no sabemos cuándo será la última vez que compartamos toda la familia junta.
Los últimos meses para nuestra familia fueron duros, porque perdidos a unos cuantos miembros de la familia y aunque la tristeza y la nostalgia se hizo presente durante mucho tiempo, sabemos que debemos continuar de pie al menos por esas personas que aún siguen en este plano terrenal junto a nosotros, así que hemos estado aprendiendo a sobrellevarlo.
>Hello everyone! Dear readers, today I find myself motivated to share with you a little bit about my family reunion yesterday, for the celebration of one of my cousin's birthday. In my family we usually get together most of the time, either for someone's birthday or for a conventional holiday such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Easter, etc. But the birthdays of our loved ones are one of the most frequented by all of us, since it is of great interest to celebrate the anniversary of life of that special person and make them feel special on their day, since we do not know when will be the last time we will share the whole family together.
>The last few months for our family were hard, because we lost a few family members and although sadness and nostalgia was present for a long time, we know that we must continue standing at least for those people who are still on this earthly plane with us, so we have been learning to cope.
Mi prima @mainegriss era la cumpleañera del día, ella es del tipo de personas que espera su cumpleaños con suma emoción incluso es de las que hace cuenta regresiva hasta que llega el día, desde que la conozco ella es así y me parece genial que se emocione por cumplir un año más, porque he conocido a personas que no les gusta que llegue la fecha de su cumpleaños porque según “No quieren ponerse más viejos” pero todos los pensamientos se respetan. Ella era la excepción a esas personas, porque le emociona mucho cumplir años y ni siquiera aparenta la edad que tiene, juzguen por ustedes mismos.
>My cousin @mainegriss was the birthday girl of the day, she is the type of person that waits for her birthday with utmost excitement even she is the type that counts down until the day arrives, since I have known her she is like that and I find it great that she is excited to turn one more year old, because I have known people that don't like when their birthday comes because according to "They don't want to get older" but all thoughts are respected. She was the exception to those people, because she is so excited to have a birthday and she doesn't even look her age, judge for yourselves.
Nos estuvimos reuniendo en la casa de mi abuela, ya que mi prima vive desde muy pequeña con mi abuela y como familia ya teníamos unos cuantos preparativos en mente para celebrar el día especial de mi prima. Cada miembro de la familia colaboró con algo para la reunión, en mi caso, yo preparé una gelatina de cereza para comer en compañía con la torta, mi papa se encargó de los refrescos mi hermana @ciresophen de las bebidas alcohólicas y mi mama @kelania llevo unos pequeños pasa palos, como panes con salsa y tequeños para compartir mientras charlábamos.
>We were gathering at my grandmother's house, as my cousin has been living with my grandmother since she was very young and as a family she already used a few preparations in mind to celebrate my cousin's special day. Each family member collaborated with something for the gathering, in my case, I prepared a cherry jelly to eat in company with the cake, my dad took care of the soft drinks my sister @ciresophen the alcoholic beverages and my mom @kelania brought some small pasa palos, like breads with salsa and tequeños to share while we chatted.

Mi prima tuvo la torta que ella deseaba, puesto que desde hace meses había guardado en su celular una imagen del pastel que deseaba, con muchas fresas, melocotones y chips de chocolate pero, lo más atractivo de todo era una botella de cerveza sobre ella la cual terminaba de decorar el pastel de una forma muy elegante y divertida, la torta estaba tanto cubierta de fresas como rellena también y puedo certificarles que estaba buenísima. Mi prima a su vez le gusta auto regalarse una torta ella misma el día de su cumpleaños, honestamente aunque ella no es una experta en repostería los ponqués le quedan muy buenos, y siempre para los cumpleaños de otros miembros familiares ella es la que los realiza porque nos gusta mucho como le quedan, asi que ella preparó una mini torta de dos niveles cubierta de chocolate y rellena de chips de chocolate que también era linda y deliciosa como la otra, así que tuvimos la oportunidad de comernos cada uno dos trozos de pastel y también llevarnos otro trozo adicional a nuestra casa ¡Maravilloso!
>My cousin had the cake she wanted, since for months she had saved in her cell phone an image of the cake she wanted, with lots of strawberries, peaches and chocolate chips but, the most attractive of all was a bottle of beer on it which finished decorating the cake in a very elegant and fun way, the cake was both covered with strawberries and filled as well and I can certify that it was delicious. My cousin likes to treat herself to a cake on her birthday, honestly even though she is not an expert in baking the cakes are very good, and always for the birthdays of other family members she is the one who makes them because we like the way they look,
Éramos un grupo pequeño de personas considerando que mi familia completa es sumamente numerosa, en esta ocasión solo nos encontrábamos juntos las personas que viven más cerca del otro. A la celebración asistimos mis hermanas, sobrinos, mis padres, dos primos menores, mi tio quien es padre de la festejada, mi abuela y una pareja que son amistades de mi prima y viven en la misma urbanización. Así que se podría decir que fue una celebración muy amena, con buena parte de la familia reunida. Siempre se sienten bien este tipo de reuniones.
>We were a small group of people considering that my whole family is extremely large, on this occasion only the people who live closest to each other were together. The celebration was attended by my sisters, nieces and nephews, my parents, two younger cousins, my uncle who is the father of the bride, my grandmother and a couple who are friends of my cousin and live in the same urbanization. So you could say that it was a very nice celebration, with most of the family together. It always feels good to have this kind of gathering.

Cantamos cumpleaños a las 8:30 pm y todos los niños (y yo) estábamos felices porque íbamos a comer torta al fin jajaja, creo que todos repetimos 2 rondas de pastel porque habíamos quedado encantados con el sabor de estos y mi prima se reía porque no podía creer lo dulcera que era su familia jajajaja ¡Amamos el dulce! Cuando se hizo un poco más tarde fue momento de que todos volviéramos a nuestras casas pero si de algo estoy segura es de que volvimos felices, porque nuestras reuniones familiares nos recargan las pilas al 100% ¿No lo creen?
>We sang birthday at 8:30 pm and all the kids (and me) were happy because we were finally going to eat cake hahaha, I think we all repeated 2 rounds of cake because we had been delighted with the taste of these and my cousin laughed because she could not believe how sweet her family was hahahaha We love sweet! When it got a little later it was time for all of us to go back home but if there is one thing I am sure of it is that we came back happy, because our family reunions recharge our batteries 100%, don't you think so?
