I am thinking about organizing the first edition of a Steemit game creation event. I've noticed a fellow #gamedev @roundbeargames that does daily game challenges. I think it would be nice if we could organize an event where we could see multiple game entries for a specific theme created by the Steemit community. If there's enough people interested in this, I will make an official post. Right now this is how I think it should go : 

- The theme will be selected from a pool of submitted themes and will be announced at the start of the event, which will be announced in another post if some people are willing to participate. I will be transparent in picking the theme by using the last block hash of the Bitcoin blockchain as a seed, so participants will know I did not pick the theme multiple hours before making it public.

- The event will last 48 hours (Debatable in the comments).
- No teams allowed, this is a solo event.
- All assets must be created from the participant (Code, Art, Sound). However, game engines/frameworks/libraries are permitted.
- The winner would be determined by the amount of upvotes (or payout from their submission post)(Debatable in the comments).
- There would be no prize, this is just for fun! (But you do finish with a game you made! And the post payout reward!)
- The project needs to be open-source. Sharing code is important!
