Hive Business Card Contest ~ Entry by Lordshah

Acidyo and OCD Team are looking forward to testing a 'Hive Onboarding Initiative' through business cards, therefore they have announced a contest where Hive community members can show their skills and create a stunning card design. A top-notch design will be selected by the judges and may go into mass printing, then these cards to be distributed by fellow Hiveians among their connections or people around them.

I also take part in this contest to present my card design created with Photoshop. It took me quite a time but I managed to finalize it at the last minute despite having a busy week.

This is the final version of the card that I made in Photoshop using different elements.

Let's look into the process I took to design this sleek and modern-looking business card.

First I drew 2 rectangles and applied a maroon-black gradient, a little bit of color adjustment was done to give a shiny look adjacent to the middle line.

In the above image, I applied 3 curves on 2 corners of the rectangle, I drew the arch and placed the flag of the Philippines on the back side of the card, but I removed it later, as it was looking a bit bulky and taking too much space.

I added a CPU circuit on both sides to give the card a contemporary look and feel. Then I adjusted the opacity levels of the curves to blend in with the design.

**Front of the Card:**

- Hive logo was inserted with a reflection of the logo and moved behind the curves.
- Text was added including the Hive Blockchain slogan on the front side.
- QR was generated for https://hivesigner.com

**Back of the Card:**

- The logo of Hive Philippines was inserted and placed on the left side.
- Links to @hiveph and Hive.io were written along with symbols.
- QR was generated to Hive Ph Discord group.

After a few touch-ups, the card was ready to present for the contest entry.

This business card is a contemporary design with a modern touch. Each element in this design is individually put into layers, this means any sort of editing can be done if required and every stuff is adjustable / removable. The original Photoshop file is readily available for editing and printing.
