Hello to the entire @holozing community,

I'm Lorentm, a passionate digital artist, and today I have the pleasure to share with you my newest creation: an artistic interpretation of the beloved character Zingu in anime style. I'm very excited to show off this fan art and to be able to connect with all of you through my art.

In the vast expanses of Holozing, where magic and technology converge, there exists a unique being: Zingu, the penguin with iridescent plumage. His expressive eyes seem to hold ancient secrets and hidden knowledge. But most intriguing is the jewel on his forehead that glows with a mysterious energy. Is he a guardian of ancient relics? Or an explorer of the digital realms? Zingu stands as an enigma, and his presence in the world of Holozing is as enigmatic as it is beautiful.

To capture the essence of Zingu, I decided to work in a predominantly blue and white color scheme. Its belly and face are pure white, while its back, wings and head are shades of blue, creating an enchanting contrast. His large eyes, with black pupils and white reflections, give him a lively and lively expression. On his forehead, a yellow V-shaped marking extends from the head towards the beak area, adding a distinctive touch to his appearance.

Most striking is undoubtedly the ice-blue hexagonal crystal that adorns the top of his head and chest. This detail highlights her mystical and powerful nature, and is a key element I wanted to emphasize in my interpretation. Her wings are outstretched, as if she is about to take off or perform some significant gesture, capturing a moment of potential and dynamism.

I'm very happy to be able to share this fan art with the @holozing community. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of Zingu and that this artwork conveys to you the same fascination and affection I feel for this character. >En las vastas extensiones de Holozing, donde la magia y la tecnología convergen, existe un ser único: Zingu, el pingüino de plumaje iridiscente. Sus ojos expresivos parecen contener secretos ancestrales y conocimientos ocultos. Pero lo más intrigante es la joya en su frente que brilla con una energía misteriosa. ¿Es un guardián de reliquias antiguas? ¿O un explorador de los reinos digitales? Zingu se alza como un enigma, y su presencia en el mundo de Holozing es tan enigmática como hermosa.

>Para capturar la esencia de Zingu, decidí trabajar en un esquema de colores predominantemente azul y blanco. Su vientre y rostro son de un blanco puro, mientras que su espalda, alas y cabeza presentan tonos de azul, logrando un contraste encantador. Sus grandes ojos, con pupilas negras y reflejos blancos, le otorgan una expresión vivaz y llena de vida. En su frente, una marca amarilla en forma de V se extiende desde la cabeza hacia el área del pico, añadiendo un toque distintivo a su apariencia.

>Lo más llamativo es, sin duda, el cristal hexagonal de color azul hielo que adorna la parte superior de su cabeza y su pecho. Este detalle resalta su naturaleza mística y poderosa, y es un elemento clave que quise destacar en mi interpretación. Sus alas están extendidas, como si estuviera a punto de despegar o realizar algún gesto significativo, capturando un momento de potencial y dinamismo.

## Process / Proceso

Creating this fan art of Zingu was an artistic journey full of emotion and creativity. I want to share with you how the elaboration process went, from the first sketch to the final touches of gloss.

It all started with a preliminary sketch. At this stage, I tried to capture the pose and the overall essence of Zingu. I used light, quick strokes to define the silhouette and proportions. I wanted to make sure that his pose conveyed that sense of dynamism and life that characterizes this character so much. This is where the idea of having its wings outstretched was born, giving the impression that it is about to take flight or make a significant gesture.

Once I was satisfied with the sketch, I moved on to the outlining phase. I used a more defined and precise line to outline all the shapes and details. This is a crucial step because it helps to give clarity and structure to the drawing. I made sure that the lines were clean and uniform, highlighting the most important details, such as Zingu's large expressive eyes and the V-shaped mark on his forehead.

The next step was coloring. I opted for a blue and white color scheme, which are representative of Zingu. I used a pure white for her belly and face, while for her back, wings and head, I chose shades of blue that were harmonious but with enough contrast. This step is always exciting because it's when the character starts to come to life.

Next, I applied shadows to give depth and volume. I used soft shadows in the areas that would naturally be less well lit, such as under his wings and around his neck. This helps Zingu look more three-dimensional and realistic. I paid special attention to how the light would interact with the hexagonal crystal on her forehead and chest, creating reflections that emphasize her mystical nature.

Finally, I added the shimmers. This step is essential to highlight certain areas and add a touch of magic to the character. I used sparkles in his eyes to give them that spark of life, and in the hexagonal crystal to emphasize his mysterious energy. Glitter was also strategically placed on the feathers and wings to accentuate his iridescent texture.

Each of these steps was essential in taking Zingu from a simple concept to a finished digital artwork. I am very happy with the result and I hope you enjoy it too. Thank you for joining me on this creative journey.

> Crear este fan art de Zingu fue un viaje artístico lleno de emoción y creatividad. Quiero compartir con ustedes cómo fue el proceso de elaboración, desde el primer boceto hasta los últimos toques de brillo.

>Todo comenzó con un boceto preliminar. En esta etapa, traté de capturar la pose y la esencia general de Zingu. Utilicé trazos ligeros y rápidos para definir la silueta y las proporciones. Quería asegurarme de que su postura transmitiera esa sensación de dinamismo y vida que tanto caracteriza a este personaje. Aquí es donde nació la idea de tener sus alas extendidas, dando la impresión de que está a punto de emprender vuelo o hacer un gesto significativo.

>Una vez satisfecho con el boceto, pasé a la fase de delineado. Utilicé una línea más definida y precisa para contornear todas las formas y detalles. Esta es una etapa crucial porque ayuda a dar claridad y estructura al dibujo. Me aseguré de que las líneas fueran limpias y uniformes, destacando los detalles más importantes, como los grandes ojos expresivos de Zingu y la marca en forma de V en su frente.

>El siguiente paso fue el coloreado. Opté por un esquema de colores azul y blanco, que son representativos de Zingu. Utilicé un blanco puro para su vientre y rostro, mientras que para su espalda, alas y cabeza, escogí tonos de azul que fueran armoniosos pero con suficiente contraste. Este paso es siempre emocionante porque es cuando el personaje empieza a cobrar vida.

>Luego, apliqué sombras para dar profundidad y volumen. Utilicé sombras suaves en las áreas que naturalmente estarían menos iluminadas, como debajo de sus alas y alrededor de su cuello. Esto ayuda a que Zingu se vea más tridimensional y realista. Presté especial atención a cómo la luz interactuaría con el cristal hexagonal en su frente y pecho, creando reflejos que enfatizan su naturaleza mística.

>Finalmente, añadí los brillos. Este paso es fundamental para resaltar ciertas áreas y añadir un toque de magia al personaje. Usé brillos en sus ojos para darles esa chispa de vida, y en el cristal hexagonal para enfatizar su energía misteriosa. Los brillos también se colocaron estratégicamente en las plumas y las alas para acentuar su textura iridiscente.

>Cada uno de estos pasos fue esencial para llevar a Zingu desde un simple concepto hasta una obra de arte digital terminada. Estoy muy contenta con el resultado y espero que ustedes también lo disfruten. Gracias por acompañarme en este viaje creativo.
