Please if you enjoyed the post leave an upvote follow and share this post, i would really appreciate it as it is really hard for me bringing contents like this!If you have any tips or advise for the next post just write them in the comment!</strong></em></p> <p>Hi steemian and vapers today i will talk about the different between the liquids for vaping.</p> <p>To understand this article better i recommend you to also this article https://steemit.com/vape/@lorenzothevaper/mouth-hit-vs-lung-hit</p> <p>The liquids for electronic cigarette are made up of: Water, Nicotine, Aromas, Propylene Glycol (Pg) and Vegetable Glycerine (Vg).</p> <p><strong>What are the Pg and the Vg?</strong><br> The liquids for electronic cigarette are made up of: Water, Nicotine, Aromas, Propylene Glycol (Pg) and Vegetable Glycerine (Vg). Pg and Vg are nautical agents that allow to transform the liquid into steam, they are generally mixed inside the liquids to obtain the right quantity of steam. In addition to being used in the field of eCig, Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin are also commonly used in the food industry and are two components generally recognized as safe.<br> <strong>What is the Full VG?</strong><br> The full VG liquid is a liquid made of only glycerine,<br> then, in a 10 ml bottle of 90% liquid, it is glycerine (VG) of certified pharmaceutical grade (USP) and the remaining 10% is from deionized water, aroma and nicotine.</p> <p><br></p> <p>In liquids for electronic cigarette the ratio between these two substances is expressed as a percentage, conventionally usually first the VG and then the PG. A 70/30 liquid will therefore have a percentage of 70% VG and 30% PG.<br> </p> <p>Comparing the two tables we can realize that there are substantial differences between a "mouth" and "lung" atomizer and therefore also that a liquid born to be vaped in a system may not be suitable or gratifying in the other. At this point is useful a little analysis of some of the substances that make electronic cigarette liquids:</p> <ul> <li>Propylene glycol (PG)</li> <li>Vegetable Glycerine (VG)</li> </ul> <p>https://i.imgsafe.org/e6/e6f82bc8fe.jpeg</p> <ul> <li>The PG is a liquid less dense and "lighter" than the VG and is therefore more easily absorbed by the cotton, has a better aromatic yield and has a "throat hit" more accentuated (the classic shot in the throat, typical of cigarettes) but it produces little steam.</li> <li>The VG is a much denser and "heavy" liquid than the PG and is therefore more easily absorbed by the cotton, has a lower aromatic yield but has a "throat hit" almost nothing and produces much steam.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Liquids for Mouth hit's Vape </strong></h2> <p> Usually the mouth hit vape uses resistances higher than 1 ohm and powers between 10-20 Watts, this allows to keep the temperatures of the resistances low, which can not be "cooled" by the copious air flows instead of the lung atomizers. Less power is equivalent to less aggressive vaporization, so no large flow of liquid is required to keep the cotton wet. To compensate for the lower powers and the lower steam generated, it is preferable to use liquids with a good percentage of PG (Propylene Glycol) which, as we said, favors the aromatic yield and the sensation of "throat hit" . By evaporating less liquid compared to lung atomizers, mouth atomizers also allow you to use higher nicotine gradations (nicotine helps to increase stroke sensation in the throat). The feeding channels (the holes through which the liquid is absorbed by the cotton) of the mouth atomizers are calibrated for this type of liquid and are therefore rather small to avoid possible losses, as a dense liquid passes through the holes very easily. This implies that if you want to use liquids that are denser and with a higher percentage of VG (70/30, 80/20, 100% VG), cotton may struggle to become wet with the consequent "dry" activations (Dry Hit) accompanied by typical burnt flavor. Some mouth sprayers can also handle 70/30 liquids but super-percentages are not recommended. In principle, if you use a cheek vape set-up, the ideal liquids are those with VG / PG percentages of 60/40 or 50/50 both to avoid problems of feeding the liquid and to increase the aromatic yield. </p> <h2> <strong>Fluids for Lung vaping </strong></h2> <p>The lung vaping often uses atomizers with "sub-ohm" resistances that is under 1 ohm and multiple coils (more incandescent elements), this allows a remarkable production of steam, facilitated by the important air flows typical of these atom. In order to "push" all these incandescent elements, more power is needed which equates to more aggressive vaporization. To avoid too much "rough" or "scratching" shots due to the large production of steam it is preferable to use low levels of nicotine and liquids with a prevalence of VG (Vegetable Glycerine) which, as we have seen, has a throat hit less pronounced than PG and produces much more vapor. The VG is a very thick liquid, so the liquid supply holes in the lung atomizers are larger than those present in the cheek atom. This allows a liquid with a prevalence of VG (100% VG, 80/20 or 70/30) to be easily absorbed. It follows, however, that if you decide to use a more balanced liquid between VG and PG (eg 50/50) in a lung atomizer, you may have problems with leakage of liquid as this would be less dense and would pass too easily into large feed holes (some atomizers to overcome this problem have the possibility to regulate the flow of liquid). Generally, therefore, if you use atomizers for pulmonary shooting, it is preferable to orientate on liquids with a percentage of VG from 70% up, with low nicotine gradations (3 mg / ml or less). In liquids for electronic cigarette with lower VG percentages (eg 50/50), moreover, the aromatic yield could be too intense and nauseating in a vape set up of the lung because the liquid and the aroma are often calibrated to a less aggressive vaporization typical of the mouth hit set up. </p> <h2><strong>Conclusion </strong></h2> <p>In the end, vaping is a matter of personal preference. There is nothing completely right or completely wrong and if something works for you and satisfies you, welcome it. This article tries to give general guidelines and some insights to help especially the less expert vapers to orient themselves in the choice of the most suitable liquids for their electronic cigarette. I've been vaping for the last 4 years... but it's always nice to see more info about vaping! My oldest son bought me a kit for Christmas, and that's how I started. I use to smoke two packs of cigarettes a day! It started out as a healthier way and one that would lead to quitting cigarettes altogether,and it worked!

Don't forget that with bigger hits from direct to lung vaping, there's a lot more nicotine per hit - another reason that as a general rule of thumb you should use half the nicotine strength compared to MTL vaping.
