After the almost four-hour train ride with a stopover in Duisburg, it was finally time. We arrived in Amsterdam and first had to find our way to the metro station. After a short while we found the entrance to the Metro Station. To get to the Volkshotel we first had to get a ticket for the metro. Since we did not know that it would be more convenient and cheaper with a day or 4-day ticket, we first bought a 1-hour ticket at the machine, so that we come as quickly as possible to the Vokshotel.

Nach der knapp vierstündigen Bahnfahrt mit Zwischenstopp in Duisburg, war es endlich soweit. Wir sind in Amsterdam angekommen und mussten uns erstmal zurecht finden, wo es dann zur Metro Station geht. Nach einer kurzen Weile haben wir den Eingang zur Metro Station gefunden. Damit wir erstmal zum Volkshotel kommen konnten, mussten wir uns erstmal ein Ticket für die Metro besorgen. Da wir nicht wussten, das es mit einem Tages bzw. 4 Tages Ticket bequemer und günstiger sein würde, haben wir erstmal ein 1 Stunden Ticket am Automaten gekauft, damit wir so schnell wie Möglich zum Vokshotel kommen.

We then took the metro with the number 53, so we could go a few stations and get off directly in front of the Volkshotel. I find the metro stations very good. The system with the tickets and the check-in and check-out is quite well solved.

Wir haben dann die Metro mit der Nummer 53 genommen, damit wir ein paat Stationen fahren konnten und direkt vor dem Volkshotel aussteigen konnten. Die Metro Stationen finde ich sehr gut. Das System mit den Tickets und dem einchecken sowie auschecken ist ganz gut gelöst.

Arrived at the Volkshotel we first checked into our booked room. The room was on the 6th floor and had a nice view over Amsterdam. The bed was fine and generally the room was quite cozy but also relatively sparsely furnished. But all in all perfectly adequate for a few nights in Amsterdam.

Am Volkshotel angekommen haben wir erstmal in unser gebuchtes Zimmer eingecheckt. Das Zimmer war in der 6. Etage und hatte einen schönen Ausblick über Amsterdam. Das Bett war in Ordnung und allgemein war das Zimmer recht gemütlich aber auch relativ spärlich eingerichtet. Aber allen in Allem vollkommen ausreichend für ein paar Nächte in Amsterdam.

After we set up our room, it was time to see who had already arrived in the hotel lobby. It was like a family celebration, when you have seen after a long time, friends and acquaintances again. But also new friendships were made directly, because one thing unites us all: Our love and passion for the Hive Blockchain.

Nach dem wir unser Zimmer eingerichtet haben, wurde es Zeit zu schaun, wer sich schon so alles in der Hotel Lobby eingefunden hat. Es war wie ein Familienfest, wenn man nach einer ganzen langen Zeit, Freunde und Bekannte wiedergesehen hat. Aber auch neue Freundschaften wurden direkt geschlossen, denn eines Verbindet uns alle gemeinsam: Unsere Liebe und Passion zur Hive Blockchain.

It was a great evening, with lots of great and interesting conversations. On the pictures to see some super great people, which have seen again, or have seen so far for the first time and read on the blockchain. I found it especially interesting that we witnessed live at HiveFest the Splinterlands Sale of the Riftwatchers Packs. @rivalzzz and @wolf-sl flipped open their laptops and watched live as the 500k first packs were sold. @splinterlands Riftwatcher Packs sold out in under 2 minutes - At least the packs on presale. That was very exciting.

Es war ein großartiger Abend, mit vielen tollen und interessanten Gesprächen. Auf den Bildern zu sehen einige super tolle Menschen, welche erneut wiedergesehen habe, oder bislang das erste Mal gesehen habe und auf der Blockchain gelesen habe. Ganz besonders interessant fande ich, das wir Live auf dem HiveFest den Splinterlands Sale der Riftwatchers Packs miterlebt haben. @rivalzzz und @wolf-sl haben ihre Laptop aufgeklappt und haben Live mitverfolgt, wie die 500k ersten Packs verkauft wurden. @splinterlands Riftwatcher Packs waren in unter 2 Minuten ausverkauft - Zumindest die Packs im Presale. Das war sehr aufregend.
