Para nadie es un secreto que yo amo diario de vampiros, esa historia es una que me ha envuelto desde hace mucho tiempo. Es importante destacar que por alguna extraña razón las historias de vampiros me atrapan de una manera muy fácil y cuando descubrí el universo de crónicas vampíricas me di cuenta que se volvió en mi historia favorita de todas las de este estilo que he leído. Comencé viendo la serie y me atrapó completamente luego descubrí que había algunos libros y mi primer mi primer pensamiento fue leerlos, pero después de leer en algunas páginas de fans me di cuenta que eran dos cosas distintas, así que en mi mente separe la serie de los libros, los tome como dos universos diferentes que comparten los mismos nombres y hoy les vengo a contar sobre esta serie de libros llamada diarios de vampiros.

I started watching the series and it caught me completely then I discovered that there were some books and my first thought was to read them, but after reading in some fan pages I realized that they were two different things, so in my mind I separated the series from the books, I took them as two different universes that share the same names and today I come to tell you about this series of books called vampire diaries.

Me parece correcto comenzar contándoles de qué va la historia, básicamente está trama gira en torno a Elena una chica muy extrovertida que vive en un pueblo llamado Fell's Church, este pueblo está lleno de una energía mágica muy extraña, es por ello que atrae a espíritus y criaturas interesantes. En este pueblo llega un misterioso chico llamado Stefan. Elena siempre ha sido una de las chicas más codiciadas y muy hermosas cuando Stefan la ve automáticamente piensa en su exnovia así que decide alejarse, pero ella como siempre consigue lo que quiere logra hablar con él y empiezan una amistad que luego se convierte en relación. Lamentablemente para Estefan siempre es perseguido por su hermano Damon el cual es bastante malo debo admitir y hace todo lo posible para hacer la vida de Stefan imposible. Elena siempre esta rodeada de sus amigas, Meredith, Bonnie, Matt (su exnovio) y Caroline (quien la odia más adelante) y todos juntos se ven envueltos en una serie de eventos extraños, algunos espíritus y cosas que nunca habían visto además de haber en el primer libro un homicidio del cual todos culpan a Stefan.

It seems right to start telling you what the story is about, basically this plot revolves around Elena a very extroverted girl who lives in a town called Fell's Church, this town is full of a very strange magical energy, that's why it attracts spirits and interesting creatures. Into this town comes a mysterious boy named Stefan. Elena has always been one of the most coveted and very beautiful girls when Stefan sees her he automatically thinks of his ex-girlfriend so he decides to stay away, but she always gets what she wants and manages to talk to him and they start a friendship that later turns into a relationship. Unfortunately for Estefan he is always pursued by his brother Damon who is pretty mean I must admit and does everything he can to make Stefan's life impossible. Elena is always surrounded by her friends, Meredith, Bonnie, Matt (her ex-boyfriend) and Caroline (who hates her later on) and all together they get involved in a series of strange events, some spirits and things they had never seen plus there is in the first book a murder which they all blame Stefan for.

Sí bien Damon es muy importante en las historias Katherine también, ella fue una vampira muy mala muchísimo más mala que Damon y ha estado atormentándolos incluso en su “muerte”, ya que los hermanos Salvatore estaban enamorados de ella, lamentablemente Katherine fue la causante de la enemistad entre los hermanos Salvatore y es por eso que Stefan siempre este huyendo de su hermano Damon. Por culpa de Katherine, Elena se convierte en vampiro. Sumado a esto también hubo un villano llamado Klaus, uno de los vampiros originales, el cual quería volver a la vida utilizando a Tyler el cual era un hombre lobo, no recuerdo si Klaus en los libros era el Hibrido Original como en la serie, también quería hacer caos en el mundo teniendo mucho poder, fue el villano del último libro llamado invocación, en el cual reviven a Elena porque estaba muerta para luego revele que se deja de ser una Vampiro para ser mitad ángel/guardián.

In addition to this there was also a villain named Klaus, one of the original vampires, which wanted to return to life using Tyler which was a werewolf, I do not remember if Klaus in the books was the Original Hybrid as in the series, also wanted to make chaos in the world having much power, was the villain of the last book called invocation, in which revive Elena because she was dead to then reveal that it stops being a Vampire to be half angel / guardian.

Hay muchas diferencias con respecto a la serie y el libro, si bien comparten algunas cosas muchísimas de ellas han sido cambiadas tomando como ejemplo la apariencia de Elena quién en los libros es una rubia de ojos azules y en la serie es una chica de pelo castaño con ojos marrones. También las apariencias de los demás personajes, principalmente las femeninas las cuales son muy distintas y sus personalidades también además que en el libro hay muchos personajes que no fueron incluidos en la serie. Eso hace que la historia de los libros sea mucho más interesante, considero que el libro tiene una trama muchísimo más profunda que en la serie, si bien incluye la trama muy de amor adolescentes también es una historia un poco más adulta con una narración seria pero divertida al mismo tiempo. En cada temporada de la serie hubieron diferentes villanos, en los libros también pero en lo único que se parecen es en Katherine y Klaus. Además que en la serie no se ven los poderes de Damon de convertirse en cuervo, en los libros también representan la "magia" como un poder, algo que se siente, siempre lo están nombrando y es interesante de leer.

There are many differences with respect to the series and the book, although they share some things many of them have been changed taking as an example the appearance of Elena who in the books is a blonde with blue eyes and in the series is a brown-haired girl with brown eyes. Also the appearances of the other characters, mainly the female characters which are very different and their personalities are also very different, besides that in the book there are many characters that were not included in the series. That makes the story of the books much more interesting, I consider that the book has a much deeper plot than in the series, although it includes the very teenage love plot it is also a little more adult story with a serious but funny narration at the same time. In each season of the series there were different villains, in the books too but the only thing they are similar is Katherine and Klaus. Besides that in the series you don't see Damon's powers of becoming a raven, in the books they also represent "magic" as a power, something you feel, they are always naming it and it's interesting to read.

No he terminado de leer todos los libros la verdad, leí la primera la saga principal la cual empieza con el despertar, luego le sigue Conflicto, después Furia y culmina con Invocación. Luego comencé a leer el spin-off que le sigue el cual se llama “Damon el Retorno” después le siguen como dos spin-off adicionales los cuales no he leído completamente porque aún no he terminado el primero pero la verdad que es una historia que me gusta mucho veo como las protagonistas son muchísimo más profundos como las cosas que suceden son más variadas que en los libros. Realmente consideró que es uno de mis de mis historias favoritas, estos los libros son de los que más disfrute leer y la verdad que no me lo he terminado todos porque me gusta dejar algunos libros sin leer para siempre tener algo de Diarios de Vampiros ahí por descubrir. Con respecto a la trama principal de quién con quién se queda Elena sí con Stefan, el cuál es su alma gemela literalmente, o con Damon el chico malo, la verdad es que no sé en los libros por los momentos Elena sigue escogiendo a Stefan como su amor épico. Espero que les haya gustado esta historia vampírica, nos vemos pronto!

> I haven't finished reading all the books the truth, I read the first the main saga which starts with the awakening, then follows Conflict, then Fury and culminates with Summoning. Then I started to read the spin-off that follows which is called "Damon the Return" then there are about two additional spin-offs which I haven't read completely because I haven't finished the first one yet but the truth is that it is a story that I like a lot I see how the protagonists are much deeper and how the things that happen are more varied than in the books. I really consider it to be one of my favorite stories, these books are the ones I enjoyed reading the most and the truth is that I haven't finished them all because I like to leave some books unread to always have something of the Vampire Diaries there to discover. Regarding the main plot of who Elena stays with yes with Stefan, which is her soul mate literally, or with Damon the bad boy, the truth is that I don't know in the books at the moment Elena keeps choosing Stefan as her epic love.
