Hello everyone, welcome back to another Splinterlands community engagement challenge post.  In today's article, we are going to Discuss Battle rules and their counters. So, here I am going to discuss how you can choose cards according to your battle rules. Thanks to Splinterlands' team for bringing great challenges for the users. This way, new users are learning a lot, which is what we need. Because experienced player share their experience through these challenges, and new players learn from them also this is a great way to promote Splinterlands. Before jumping into this article, you have to read my previous Splinterlands community engagement challenge post, which you can find in my Hive blog, because that is also an important article. There are multiple  Describe your experience here, and you can choose from deck-building, rule sets, ability combos, earning rewards, or navigating the new Frontier format. So in this list, you can choose your favourite topic and write according to your experience. Share your best strategy or your earnings rewards experience, or any deck building strategy or rules, and their counters, like I have shared here. So it is up to you what you want to share. Anyway, let's check the battles and counters.




## Battle Rules: Earthquake, Even stevens, and Going the distance

Step 1: Checking opponent's previous teams - This is one of the most important steps to follow And here the opponent has taken Mixed cards And this particular opponent was magic lover So it is good to use magic attack counter monster for example void and void armour abilities cards But going the distance rule was there So that doesn't matter you use Magic counter because opponent was not going to use magic attack monster that time that is why I have not focused on this particular Step today In this battle.

Step 2: Countering battle rules - Tower Griffin has a flying ability monster that protects against the earthquake. I have taken Cornealus in the first position because it has heal ability and more health, so it was good for both earthquake and tolerating the opponent's attacks. Used protect ability monsters to gain extra armor that also protects against earthquake and opponent's attacks. You can see that I have used the First two powerful monsters because the second one has a flying ability also has more speed so it can survive longer. Similarly, the first monster can survive longer because it has more health and heal ability, and the cards placed behind these two cards can attack more because the first two cards are like a protective wall.

Step 3: Battle Mana and team changes - So it is 29 mana battles, and I have not changed Anything because of Mana in this battle. So yes, Mana has not affected this battle, and I have taken cards as I use in all other normal battles.

## Battle Rules: Heavy hitters, Up close & personal, and Healed out

Step 1: Checking opponent's previous teams - I have checked the opponent's previous team as I could see he has used Mixed cards, which means he has taken cards from all splinters and also used Balanced, both melee and ranged attack monsters, and also magic. So in this case, I have changed nothing, and also there is an up close & personal ability which supports only melee attack monsters, so nothing changed. 

Step 2: Countering battle rules - There is an up close & personal ruleset which means I can only use melee attack monsters, so in this case, I can only use monsters with reach, sneak, and opportunity abilities. And if you do not follow this, you can lose the battle. Also, for the healed out ability, avoid using heal and tank heal ability monsters. Instead, try to use monsters with more health because this is very useful. 

Step 3: Battle Mana and team changes - This battle had only 16 mana So I have chosen cards carefully I have Chosen cards Like one mana or two mana Mostly Because in such battles you have to Use Low mana cards You can win easily and if you don't follow this rule then you are going to lose the battle Even if you have followed All the battle rule sets and also use the counter cards but if you not followed Then you are going to lose it.

## Battle Rules: Born Again, and Little League

Step 1: Checking opponent's previous teams - I have checked the opponent's previous teams, and mostly he has used Heavy ranged attack cards. But here the case is different because already this particular battle has Low mana and a little league ruleset, so it is better not to change it. 

Step 2: Countering battle rules - I've not changed teams according to the rule set, like one rule is born again. In this rule, it is better to take martyr ability cards, but I avoided these cards because I had confidence that I would win. Another rule was Little League, in which only four or fewer mana cards could be used, but it was also not going to affect my team because I had already taken low mana cards because this battle had a low mana.

Step 3: Battle Mana and team changes - So it was a 19 mana battle. So I have used Low mana, Powerful cards. Also, I have used a Heal ability monster at first, and that is the 4 mana monster. So these things helped me to win this battle.

Here I have played three battles, and according to the battle rules and mana, I selected the team and played and won all the battles.
