We have talked about [SPS Node Validator License](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-sps-node-validator-license) a lot and now it's time for GLS nodes. The Presale starts 03/15/2023 at 8:30 PM and it is 3 + hours remaining when I am writing this post. The price is $1000 GLUSD tokens and 500 GLGT tokens or it is roughly $1050 which seems cheap compared to SPS node license. You know that GLUSD is a similar coin to [Dark Energy Crystal (DEC)](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-dark-energy-crystal-dec) in the genesis league platform.

The game is still under development so we can't expect that price will rise like a rocket but it can be a good investment and you can be an early adopter of this new gaming platform. Anyway, this is the presale's first round and there are almost 1000 Validator nodes licenses available on the platform. Let's estimate that they have sold 1000 node validator licenses so which means $1m worth of GLUSD tokens and 500K GLG [tokens](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-token) are there, which will surely impact the price.

There are burning plans for GLX tokens that will surely affect the glx market in a positive way and splinterlands users will also get the benefits from it because when the glx price will increase then the airdrop you are getting from glx platform would worth more.  So that means if you are planning to sell some glx at a high price to rebuy the sps token then it is a decent plan.

Well, many people don't know that today is the first presale. Only lucky people can buy at the first presale because it is very beneficial to buy in the first presale. I missed the first presale for sps node validator license and later I spent 4100 [hive](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-what-is-hive) to buy it. So if you are the sps node validator license holder then congratulation to you because you will get the airdrop after the presale. So now the question is that you are getting a 1:1 ratio in the airdrop. The answer is no but there is a shard system. If you have a 10 sps node validator license then you can claim 10 shards and 10 shards is equal to 1 one gls node license.

You are not getting 1 gls node license for 1 sps node license holding. Now the thing is shards are transferrable and tradable on the hive-engine [market](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-market). Now, who buys it and what is the use case? People who want to redeem the airdrop are going to buy these shards.

For example, If I have 9 shards and I want to claim the airdrop so do it I must have to buy 1 shard from the hive-engine market so that I can claim my one gls node validator license airdrop. That is why even if you are not getting 1 gls license in airdrop you can sell your shard in the hive-engine market and if you want the gls license in the airdrop then buy the remaining shards from the market. That's it.
