The crypto Fear and Greed Index works based on several important factors and here we are going to talk about it. This index tool measures certain indicators that reflect the mood of the cryptocurrency market. Now about The major indicators among these indicators are the following: ______________________________________ 1 . **Volatility**: Fluctuations and Sudden changes in crypto prices are called volatility and most of you know about that but it is important for me to share this basic information with you. When cryptocurrency prices rise or fall suddenly, it gives rise to fear or greed in the market and that is what impacts the fear and greed index tool. High volatility is considered a sign of fear in the market, while high growth in the market is considered a sign of greed. ______________________________________ 2 . **Market Momentum**: This indicator evaluates how much investors and people are selling or buying crypto Assets. If there is a lot of buying in the cryptocurrency market, it indicates Greed, while more selling in the cryptocurrency market indicates Fear. ______________________________________ 3 . **Social Media & News**: News and social media outlets also have a profound impact on cryptocurrency market sentiment. Discussions and positive news can increase greed in the market, while negative news can lead to fear in the market. This is very important part of fundamental analysis and we should not ignore it. So this indicator is also part of fundamentals. ______________________________________ 4 . **Market Volatility**: Cryptocurrency Market volatility also plays a major role in impacting the Fear and Greed Index tool. When the cryptocurrency market is stable, investors feel more confident, whereas, when volatility increases, an atmosphere of fear is created. That's how market volatility works and this is the factor which considered important in every market. Whether it is forex, stock, or cryptocurrency. ______________________________________ 5 . **Search Engine Trends**: The trends of the crypto-related search phrases and keywords that people are using are also included in this index because this also impacts the crypto fear and greed index. You should have a habit of checking google trends daily in the morning so that you can stay awake regarding any trend updates. When more people search for negative terms like “Bitcoin Crash”, it reflects fear, while the use of terms like “Bitcoin Skyrocketing” reflects greed. ______________________________________ These five factors are directly related to the crypto fear and greed index and if you understand these five factors it will help you a lot in the fundamentals of crypto and this way you can find future trends of the market.
