My homemade "SUKAng TUBA" vinegar, made from raw and all natural ingredients.

Greetings everyone,

I would like to know if any of you are fond of vinegar? There are a lot of vinegar recipes you can find but this one is what I think of the cebuano type of vinegar I learned a long time ago from my uncle and today I'll be sharing with you how I make my DIY homemade all-natural vinegar.

In my country the Philippines, most of us love vinegar as a condiment, especially for fried dishes, grilled pork, dried fish or even love dipping some fruits in vinegar also you cannot enjoy the famous *balot* without delicious vinegar in it.

Aside from making our food tastier we can also preserve food with vinegar and make some kinilaw like *atsara* (green papaya pickles) and that kinilaw either is fish flower or fruit.

So to make my all-natural homemade Sukang tuba. *(suka means vinegar and tuba mean coconut wine)*. I went to my garden to pick some ripe chillies which I had a good harvest and also I'm excited to share about this in my monthly garden update in the @hivegarden community.

I also bought 1 litre of coconut wine from my neighbour which he regularly harvests every morning from the coconut tree near us.

To complete my recipe I used one head of garlic and ginger. I used my old well-cleaned wine container which was usually used when I made my vinegar. Note that in making vinegar it's very good to use a glass bottle than a plastic container because the taste of the vinegar may alter if you placed it in plastic bottles.

Now I start making it by preparing the chillies I remove the calyx remove the skin of the ginger and garlic and wash them and let them dry for a minute and all ready to place inside the bottle.

Meanwhile, pour the coconut wine. This time the coconut wine I used is fermented and almost ready to use so I don't have to wait for a long time before I can use this.

Anyway, you can use whatever spices you would like to use but for me as long as chillies garlic and ginger are all present my **suka** will be perfect for any food I wish to make or eat.

Now here is my homemade aromatic ***sukang tuba*** made from all-natural ingredients.

I prefer making my own suka from coconut wine because of its health benefits rather than buying those commercials for vinegar.
