....Everything _seems_ the same, but different. (logo's ect.)

I can't seem to claim my rewards into my wallet though..(no 'posting authority?')

I dunno - I'm sure it will all work itself out..

Hey are you still going to post on Steemit as well?
I hope you do 
Did you see the post by @themarkymark ?
It has an explanation about installing the update for keychain that works here so you can claim rewards etc

I got stuck at turn on developer mode so if you figure it out I would appreciate some feedback  :   )

Try using peakd.com, log in then go to the drop down menu under your user name pick wallet, and try peaklock, simple easy to use. Hive keychain is different than Steem Keychain, and currently, (at last look), needs to be downloaded from git-hub. Everything worked fine and smooth with peaklock.

It's not a bother - I expect the wrinkles will be ironed out soon enough.
