TAKE A S*** ON GENTRIFICATION (D/ENG /ESP) - my entry for today's #monomad challenge

Altbewährte Restaurants verschwinden. Altehrwürdige gemütliche Stadtteile werden abgerissen und durch moderne Bauten ersetzt und aufgewertet (Wessen Werte...?). Günstiger Wohnraum und darauf angewiesenen Mieter verschwinden aus den Städten. Tante Emma - Läden werden durch teure, kalte Concept Stores abgelöst. Wie seht ihr das...? Wie steht ihr zur Gentrifizierung von Städten?

Time-honoured restaurants are disappearing. Time-honoured, cosy districts are being demolished and replaced by modern buildings and upgraded (whose values...?). Cheap housing and the tenants who depend on it are disappearing from the cities. Aunt Emma shops are being replaced by expensive, cold concept shops. How do you see it...? What do you think about the gentrification of cities?

Los restaurantes de toda la vida están desapareciendo. Los barrios antiguos y acogedores están siendo demolidos y sustituidos por edificios modernos y mejorados (¿valores de quién?). Las viviendas baratas y los inquilinos que dependen de ellas están desapareciendo de las ciudades. Las tiendas de la tía Emma están siendo sustituidas por costosas y frías tiendas de concepto. ¿Cómo lo ves...? ¿Qué opina de la gentrificación de las ciudades?

Doch mindestens etwas Gutes sehe ich im diesen gentrifizierten, modernen Gebäuden. Egal wie hoch. Sie bieten Unmengen an Möglichkeiten interessante Fotos zu Knipsen.
Mit ihren symetrischen Bauweisen und anderen Fassandenverkleidungen (Glas, Metall, Sichtbeton) bieten sie viele Optionen um symetrische, reflektierende oder spiegelnden Bilder zu entdecken.

But I see at least one good thing in these gentrified, modern buildings. No matter how high. They offer a myriad of opportunities to take interesting photos.
With their symmetrical construction and different facade claddings (glass, metal, exposed concrete), they offer many options to discover symmetrical, reflective or mirroring images.

Pero veo al menos una cosa buena en estos edificios modernos y aburguesados. No importa lo alto que sea. Ofrecen un sinfín de oportunidades para hacer fotos interesantes.
Con su construcción simétrica y sus diferentes revestimientos de fachada (vidrio, metal, hormigón visto), ofrecen muchas opciones para descubrir imágenes simétricas, reflectantes o de espejo.

Wenn man dort nicht leben muss und nur Mal kurz mit der Kamera unterwegs ist, ist das spannend. Allerdings ist das für mich auch immer bedrückend und fremd.

My neighborhood/city has been gentrifying for years, and yeah. Would be one thing if the rent was still affordable in their new "luxury" buildings, both for apartments and local businesses, but no, it's expensive AND bland!
