Mr DIY - A place to get your DIY stuff 
MR DIY - Miri, Sarawak

The place to get DIY related stuff from brooms, ear phones, tapes, etc.

The aisles and aisles of items in the store.. neatly stacked and arranged for all the Daily DIY needs except they don't sell grocery here. My wife wanted to buy some pots and I was there for some garbage bags. 


Traditional Brooms

In modern Malaysia, brooms like these are still sold in markets. Made from fibres of coconut husk. But made using modern technology. In the past, these brooms were made by hand.

Hahaha.. my favourite sections are cleaning related ones. I love to clean the house. Perhaps slight OCD. I spend alot of hours cleaning every week. 

The car accessories section

There are do it yourself car tint and the tools. But from what I see people have done, it's better to leave it to the experts. 

Flower pots

Found my wife at the gardening section. Lots of nice pots to choose from. My wife and I always buy soil and pots. Increasing our love for plants.

This place is quite big with so many items to look at. I think you could spend a couple of hours looking at the things in this store.

The electronics sections

Cables , chargers and earphones. The best thing about this place is that the things here are affordable. Won't break the bank. 

The stationary section

I love stationary. Maybe I am geek inside. Hahaha.. for me, a pen is not just a pen. It is a tool. I have a huge pen collection. Various colours from gold, orange to Silver.

Bricks for the grown kid that's me. Lots of toys to look at. There is something for the whole family. 

Malaysians love plastic even though it's bad for the environment. Lots of nice coloured plastic buckets, containers, food covers and etc. 

Scented pens

I usually buy presents from this store. Good quality and affordable. This scented highlighters makes a nice present for kids.

Imagine getting a highlighter like this and when you write, you can smell the different fruity fragrance. 

Then there are colouring stickers

Great even for adults. It's like creating your own art and being to stick it onto your own preferred surface.

I usually give these to kids to do. Makes them feel relaxed.

Squeezing on this is a great way to relax when you feel stressed in life. Lots of choices and best of all it's quite affordable.

The shavers something important for me... Lots to choose.

So cool to see the traditional brooms being sold in a modern store. Some things just work to good let them die. The same exact brooms are in Cambodian, my favorite.
