I bought a house last year around October and in February the loan was released to the previous owner. I have since been super duper busy working on this project. It is almost completed. It has been a long way since everything started. I am going to rent it out. Real estate here has been rising so I better get one to be thankful in the future. Good morning, my friends, are you all doing well? I have been doing business for the last couple of years and it was quite scary initially but now I have gotten used to it. If your interested to know how I managed to buy a house. I also had some help from my sister.  The living room next to the kitchen. Getting a house is one thing, the next thing is spending time to repair, repaint and remove any unwanted stuff. The view from the kitchen used to look like this. I have cemented the garden area to make it easier to clean.  There are still paint brushes in the bucket that I used to paint. I spent a couple of months repainting this house. The painter was charging around Rm 5600 pr around close to USD 2k for that. I used that money to deal with orher stuff in the house. I had to also ask an electrician to come and check every single wire in this house and change any faulty switches around the house. The stair case leading to the second floor. This house has five rooms. Fits a family.  The main living room on the first floor. I had removed anything that I felt was outdated. In this picture, the lights used are still orange and I asked the electrician to change all the lights here to white lights. # The porch of the house  This is car park fits two cars. The doors were white and I repainted it to dark brown to give it a more elegant outlook as well as the light brown side walls.  The damaged switches.  Many of the switches were old and damaged so I had many of them simplified and changed. It was for the safety of the tenants who would be living here. The night view of the house  I installed a big huge bulb at the main car park area to make it look brighter at night. The original bulb was quite small. This is the toilet. I have since taken a couple of hours to change the seat cover. Remove all the stickers from the tiled walls. Clean most of the dust off.  One of the lights. It was not working and the bulb is hard to find and change so I had it removed and replaced with a long LED light. That was cheap, long lasting and easy to change if there is a need.  These are the lights from the second floor. Made the whole second floor look dark so I had them replaced with the long LED lights to make it bright enough.  Alot of rubbish also has been removed. One lorry and a couple of car rides later. I put a lot of rubbish into the boot of my car that was found in the store room or the house. Old stuff.    This was all garden and sand. Some rubbish too. It has been cleaned and all the rubbish cleared out. This makes it easy for cleaning.  The roof was rusty and red.  Asked a contractor to repaint this with offshore grade paint. Zinc used as backyard walls. Cheaper than bricks and cement work but also does the job for now. Cementing the garden to make it clean and neat to look at.    Before buying this house, I went house hunting many houses but finally got this house as it was near the city. From my view, getting to places fast and easy is important.
