Looks like @themanwithnoname saved the day and that I'm off the hook. :) Guess that's one advantage of taking the day off. Sorry, I wasn't around to help though. I'm glad it worked out. No Name's pretty good at troubleshooting from what I've seen. :)

I was summoned. How could I not? I know I didn't exactly come running the instant you called, but I did eventually get here. I'd like to call it strategy on my part, but it was me taking the day off. However, I do like the idea of being a go-to in the event there's a) a need, and b) it's something I know how to do. It's good to be thought of as, you know, useful. :)

I went through something similar when Steemit was having an off-day. I was doing it correctly, but it wasn't registering, so I spent an inordinate amount of time on it. Welcome back after that day off!

Amazing how something like that can be used in a positive way, as in, helping someone else so they don't spend the same inordinate amount of time. I guess that now officially makes you the profile pic expert. I'm not sure if there's a prize involved, but there should be an ice cream truck somewhere nearby, right? :)

@hayzeed, if it's the Steem picture that you want to load at your profile picture, you can just right click on the image and then click "copy image address." Paste that into the line in your Steemit profile. 

If it's not that picture, you could try doing a post with the image in the post. That will create a url for the image as it must be uploaded for you to post an image in the article. You would then right click on the picture and copy the address. Then paste into the profile box as mentioned above.
