 My strategy for purchasing Bitcoins and thus including Bitcoins in my overall portfolio is completely the same with how I buy shares. I use the dollar cost averaging method, which means that I queue Bitcoins once a month or every 14 days and transfer them to a Wallet, where they are allowed to stay. I'm not aiming at the time market in Bitcoins like I do not believe I can do it with shares. I am therefore in an accumulation phase when it comes to Bitcoin, and I'm just looking for continuous additions to my portfolio on a disciplined basis. The price of Bitcoin is relatively volatile so it takes a little ice in the stomach to have it as part of one's portfolio. I aim to have up to 5% of my total portfolio in Bitcoin, exactly how much I'm not entirely sure.
