Understanding the shopping pattern and like and dislikes of customers is the key to a successful business. While this data may be easily available for an online business, it is a harder to come by for traditional offline businesses like retail, security, transportation, health etc. Nucleus Vision aims to bridge this gap by combining sensor and blockchain technologies. Nucleus uses proprietary ION sensors that do not need Bluetooth of Wi-Fi to be switched on and can recognize any smartphone.   

The ION sensor automatically detects the customer's phone when they walk into the store and provides personalized offers and pricing based on the customers shopping habits. If the customer is new to the store but has already shopped in some other stores that are connected to the Nucleus network, their data is recovered from the network to provide personalized offers and pricing. The stores are incentivized for sharing data on the network. The customer also has the option of opting out of this, if they do not want their data to be shared.  

The same network can also be extended to identify intruders in a residential or commercial complex. Nucleus has applications in many similar areas and they plan to develop it further smart cities or smart communities, agriculture, transportation etc.  

The tokens that are used in the network is called nCash. The Nucleus Neuron intelligence platform uses the real-time data that is collected from the customers and power of blockchain, IoT and deep-learning to enhance the experience of the customer. Nucleus is already being implemented in a few retail stores and has the backing of many large investors.
