<center> <h1> Who comes to mind when you hear the word 
"successful" ? </h1></center>

Among so many notable figures I admire, there are only two people who inspire me everyday.  They both are not world class famous nor has fancy jobs. One of them is the epitome of my generation and the other, is something I aspire to be. 


But how do I define success? 

Dictionary define success as  degree or measure of succeeding;favorable or desired outcomes and attainment of wealth, favor or eminence <sub>[Merriam Webster](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/success)</sub>. However, the concept and definition of success differs from individual and cultures. I discuss this particular issue on [The cultural iceberg concept]().  My definition of success is slightly different from my environment. Where I live, people define success as having a stable good job, a  family and a house. However to me, __success is about achieving one highest potential and desires__.

##### Whatever you want to be, be the best. Whatever you want, go get it. 

These two people I am going to mention according to me has met my definition of success. One of them contributes to society at large, another at smaller scale. One follows their passion ardently whilst maximize their potential, another is the same. Both follows what they desire and use their best  potential to be where they are at now. 

The first one is a PhD in Biomedical Sciences who is also into fitness and nutrition. [Stephanie Buttermore](https://www.stephaniebuttermore.com/about ) is definitely not your stereotypical PhD students or graduates. She demonstrates outstanding job in balancing her work and life. Being a PhD student is not easy and she is able to balance between her relationship, taking care of her family whilst also maintaining her profession. She is the example of you can have it all<sub>from superficial views</sub>.  I don't know much about her lowest low but from what I have seen, managing a youtube channel, working out, and doing PhD are time consuming. If you don't have good  time management, you'll barely survive but she did it.  That's why to me, she is inspiring and successful in being the best she can be.

Another one is Haaegrendal. A homemaker who does youtube and illustration. She is also  successful in being the best she can be. She shows to many women that it is not impossible to be a homemaker while also having a job on the side while receiving success (money and fame). No, she is not living in a mansion surrounded with luxury, like many of us, she lives modestly in a two bedroom apartment(at least that's what appeared).

Sure, there are many others like them. But these two people are the best according to many examples I have. Not to mention, they have humble and positive vibe around them. When you watch their videos, you'll know. They don't come off as aggressive nor annoying.
