Caladium Collections

Since someone stole the succulent that I have back in December, I moved all my succulents and my newer plant collection inside the house. Now, I also focus more on my caladium instead of the succulents. We grew some caladiums in our little yard, but we never really cared about it until I keep hearing my family talk about caladiums. So, to avoid being stolen like my succulents, I moved them into a pot and to a safer spot. In our house, we have many decorative plants and some plants that used to have economic values. My mom loved growing plants until she got back into the working force. With more working hours, she did not have time to care about the plants.  As for me, I was never really huge into plants. I was more of a pet person. I used to have fishes, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. So, gardening for me is a new hobby that I picked up. I started my succulent journey last month, and I am quickly discouraged because it doesn't grow as I wanted it to be. With caladium, I am going to give it a try.

Caring caladiums are different from caring a succulent. Caladium needs to be watered and shouldn't be left dry. Unlike succulents, this requires more effort to grow. I don't know how caladium can grow big and long in my neighborhood, but it thrives without much assistance. As if I don't have things to do, I decided to move them into pots and take care of them. I can only hope that I won't get discouraged if something happens with them.

Since I am very new to the caladium world, I can't identify some of the plants I managed to move into the pot. There are smaller ones that are to recognize, and it may not be caladiums.But regardless of that, I am still excited to see how they'll grow further and not dying.
