I was contemplating something I learned today and how I created the [Learn2code](https://peakd.com/c/hive-155735/created) community a while ago.  I am a big believer in accessible and affordable education. I hate any form of information gatekeeping and I think sharing what we learn is a part of it. Learning is a process and regardless of age, anyone should be able to do that. This is why, sometimes I share my how-to or things I learned on hive.  From how-to traveling, how-to fix, how-to this and that, I personally want to document them as thoroughly as possible because you never know it might be useful even to yourself.

I personally use them a lot. I like researching before going anywhere or just checking out things relating to stuff I enjoy/like. You’ll be surprised that you can find most things from there. Unfortunately, sometimes people don’t really write thoroughly but at least when it comes to a place, you get the gist of what to expect. I am probably weird but I like to know if I need to prepare something before stepping into a country/cities/or just new provinces.  And when it comes to troubleshooting stuff,  that becomes even more important. 

In the past I liked writing problems that I found and how to solve them. Usually I find the same problem a year later or something and rather than relying on google search, I used hive search and searched for my blogs.  It’s pretty helpful and since then, whenever I come into a problem or learn how to set-up a new piece of software or if I have a problem, I would document them.  But those things I wrote definitely saved me from more headaches having to go through a bunch of articles that just don’t work. 

What I normally do would usually be like, in a case when my laptop doesn’t work. 

1) Find a phone
2) Find how to and add my username + hive on the query search
3) Found my article and proceed fixing my troubles

So, that’s how hive has saved me a lot of the time. Sometimes I also check places I visited and recommend it to a friend when they ask me something.
