I had an experience this which is grieving me still. 

After five days, Caleb and Lisa (along with their kids) had already left our vacation rental. My wife and I took Bohannan and his kids putt putt golfing. The place was expensive, more than $7 each. Although it had just opened, it was very busy and there was a huge group in front of us. The eldest man in the bunch, one I had already heard snip at others in his group, told us to skip ahead of them. It turned out that in order to do that we had to skip ahead two holes. Two holes WE would not get to come back and do. 

I was already anxious because of Caleb and Lisa and because I knew Bohannan was leaving for home after we finished. Now also because we were "out of place." 

As soon as I saw Jared try to putt I knew This was going to be a slow experience. Just about then a man from the group we had just skipped over (I did not yet know he was also a part of the large group who suggested we skip ahead) told me that we had skipped ahead of him, he had other things to do (he was holding a small child) and to "play fast". 

I did not want to play fast. I wanted to enjoy the last few minutes I had on vacation with my oldest son and his kids. 

In order to keep from losing my temper I could barely speak. I hit my ball into the water, felt like breaking my club and had to fight the urge to blow up on the guy. 

Anita was able to explain to him (apparently while I was trying to retrieve my gold ball) that it was his group who had suggested we play ahead. We let them get back ahead of us where they belonged and they finished ages before us. We had others constantly trying to push us faster but we just let them go ahead of us if they wanted.

 It took awhile for me to unwind. I wish that was not the case.
