For a few weeks I've been thinking about this story, about my adventure on Splinterlands, something like this, in fact, if I remember correctly, I've already done it in the past, I'm not sure, forgive me, dear curators of this wonderful Contest called * **Social Media Challenge***, I'm starting to lose some beats, I've participated in several editions of your initiative, but I'll try in any case to give a new cut to my narration, I'm not even going to check, I always write everything in original, I will open my mind and let my thoughts flow again about this Great game, which has been enthralling me for more than 3 years now, indeed, to tell the truth, my adventure starts from here...

Towards the end of the summer of that year I started talking about this game, Splinterlands, indeed, rather than talking, I saw a few posts around, which dealt with this topic, with issues relating to participation in that game platform, a half idea on one side, another half-idea on the other side, in the end I decide, I invest the 10 dollars needed to take the first step on Splinterlands and I enter the game...

***First steps***

It was the 1st time for me to take part in such a game, I had never had such an experience, of course, I have played many games in my life, but Splinterlands was different from what I had done until then , so it was a real discovery for me, a new frontier, possibly, to explore and conquer, in the true sense of the word...

Time passed, a month, two months, we arrive towards the end of the year, as we all know, Hive is a blogging platform, posts are written, comments are made, interactions are made, but the exchange of opinions I am about to tell you it did not take place officially, i.e. in a public place, but privately, as they were reflections and impressions that I and the one who, after a few years, has gradually established itself as one of the true points of reference for the Italian community , but not only within the borders of our nation, I'm referring to my compatriot @libertycrypto27, who I don't think needs great introductions, by now his fame is universal, well, going back to my story, we spoke on Discord, if I don't remember bad, several times we asked ourselves the question if it was a right move to upgrade Summoners to 3rd level, I'm talking about the Rare Summoners of that era (Alric Stormbringer, Lyanna, Malric Inferno, etc.etc), we like the game it's going crazy for both of us, we couldn't go beyond certain score levels, we needed to upgrade the Summoners, if we wanted to go further, with 50, 60 dollars at the most we could have done that operation...

***Decision made***

After hesitating for some time, go, go, go, all Summoners at 3rd level, a decisive 1st step towards growth, at League level, for that specific period, but by now the switch had clicked, after a few weeks, even the 3rd level started to go slow, I started to look beyond, further, and to continue to do the math, because, as they say from many quarters, Splinterlands is much more than just a game, but it goes actually seen for what it is, an investment opportunity, with certain costs and with certain yields and expectations...

***Guild's Wish***

In the same period of the 1st upgrade of my Playing Card Deck, another idea was born, always continuing to interface with dear @libertycrypto27, the Guild, we wanted to create something that could be traced back to our colors, Italy, and we decided to do it with an all-Italian guild, made up of Italian players, we decided everything, name, roles (I would have liked, I say it once again, that he had been the Guild Leader, but there was no way, I had to give up and fill this role), annexation of players, upgrades of the Guild to be carried out, and more, it was January 2020, it was close to the beginning of the damned pandemic from covid-19, but even in that case, of that such a nefarious event, I managed and we managed to find a small glass where to drown the sorrows for what was happening around us, the glass in question was just Splinterlands ...

The need to be more efficient and to rise definitively in the major Leagues was the main stimulus for making me decide to make further upgrades, at the level of Summoners and Cards, I decided to make a discreet investment in Splinterlands, between what I made at of direct purchases and what I obtained, for various reasons, among various rewards, at the end of the carousel, during that year 2020, I made the definitive leap, I don't remember exactly if I achieved the goal of having all the Summoners at the maximum level within the end of that year, but I think that after a year of enrollment, in October 2020, the eldest of the Summoners was already at the Top, and the Champion Leagues became the main battle scenario where I played, except that just in the month of October of that year there was a change in the Splinterlands regulation, if I remember correctly there was the introduction of the Deck Power, which is a further condition to be met for access to the various Leagues...

I had a Deck Power higher than 400k, I was not far from 500k, needed to get to the Champion Leagues, I continued to upgrade my Deck day after day, until 500k was reached, isolated format conditions, caused by the strict regulations on circulation of people introduced for the covid emergency, did nothing but further increase my already strong degree of attachment to this gaming platform, I played very intense and prolonged game sessions, which determined generous rewards at the time, which were constantly reinvested , with the sole purpose of trying to reach the absolute Top...

***Living a dream***

This is what really happened, in the year 2021, I don't remember exactly how this story started, but I found myself checking the value of my Splinterlands Card Deck almost daily, throughout 2020 I had constantly reinvested my daily earnings on this platform in the purchase and upgrade of as many Cards as possible, going to max out several, so in the following year, 2021 precisely, he witnessed what I could define as *an explosion of my Deck of Cards*...

The overall value of my Deck in January 2021 was about 7,000 dollars, there was a constant, imperious, powerful growth, to the point that after a very short time my Deck exceeded 10k, then 12, 15, 18, 20, 25, 30, it never stopped, I really felt like I was in a fairy tale, and I repeated myself every day, after checking the valuation...

"But is it happening to me?? Isn't it a dream, from which I will wake up sooner or later??"

No, it wasn't a dream, or rather, it was, but it was also an incredible reality, which was materializing and becoming concrete before my eyes, still partially incredulous at what was really happening to me, the thrust, the strong growth of my account continued, it jumped the 40,000 dollar wall, even the 50,000 one, reaching almost 60,000, precisely the increase stopped at 59,000 and pennies, and then dropped to just over 50k and settled...

Da qualche settimana pensavo a questo racconto, della mia avventura su Splinterlands, un qualcosa del genere, in effetti, se non ricordo male, l'ho già fatto in passato, non ne sono sicuro, perdonatemi, cari curatori di questo meraviglioso Contest denominato ***Social Media Challenge***, inizio a perdere qualche colpo, ho partecipato a diverse edizioni di questa Vostra iniziativa, ma cercherò in ogni caso di dare un taglio nuovo al mio narrare, non vado neanche a verificare, io scrivo sempre tutto in originale, aprirò la mia mente e farò fluire nuovamente i miei pensieri su questo Grande gioco, che mi sta appassionando ormai da più di 3 anni, anzi, a dire il vero, la mia avventura parte da qui...

Verso la fine dell'estate di quell'anno iniziai a parlare di questo gioco, Splinterlands, anzi, più che parlare, vedevo in giro qualche post, che trattavo di questo argomento, di tematiche relative alla partecipazione a quella piattaforma di gioco, una mezza idea da una parte, un'altra mezza idea dall'altra parte, alla fine mi decido, investo i 10 dollari necessari per fare il primo passo su Splinterlands ed entro nel gioco...

***Primi passi***

Era la 1° volta per me che prendevo parte a un gioco del genere, non avevo mai avuta un'esperienza di questo tipo, certo, ho giocato a tanti giochi in vita mia, ma Splinterlands era diverso da quello che avevo fatto fino ad allora, per cui fu per me un'autentica scoperta, una nuova frontiera, possibilmente, da esplorare e da conquistare, nel vero senso della parola...

Il tempo passava, un mese, due mesi, si arriva verso la fine dell'anno, come tutti sappiamo, Hive è una piattafforma di blogging, si scrivono post, si fanno commenti, si interagisce, ma gli scambi delle opinioni che sto per dirvi non avvenne in via ufficiale, cioè in un posto pubblico, ma privatamente, in quanto erano riflessioni e impressioni che ci scambiavamo io e quello che, a distanza di alcuni anni, si è progressivamente affermato come uno dei veri punti di riferimento per la comunità italiana, ma non solamente nei confini della nostra nazione, mi sto riferendo al mio connazionale @libertycrypto27, che non penso abbia bisogno di grandi presentazioni, ormai la sua fama è universale, bene, ritornando al mio racconto, ci parlammo su Discord, se non ricordo male, diverse volte ci ponemmo la domanda se fosse una mossa giusta potenziare gli Evocatori al 3° livello, sto parlando degli Evocatori Rari di quella epoca (Alric Stormbringer, Lyanna, Malric Inferno, ecc.ecc), il gioco ci piaceva da matti a entrambi, oltre certi livelli di punteggio non riuscivamo più ad andare, occorreva potenziare gli Evocatori, se volevamo andare oltre, con 50, 60 dollari al massimo avremmo potuto fare quell'operazione...

***Decisione presa***

Dopo aver tentennato per qualche periodo, vai, si parte, si va, tutti gli Evocatori al 3° livello, un 1° passo deciso verso una crescita, a livello di Leghe, per quel determinato periodo, ma ormai era scattato l'interruttore, dopo poche settimane anche il 3° livello iniziava ad andare stretto, iniziavo a guardare oltre, più in là, e a continuare a fare quattro conti, perché, come da più parti si dice, Splinterlands è molto di più di un semplice gioco, ma va visto effettivamente per quello che è, un'opportunità di investimento, con determinati costi e con determinate rese e aspettative...

***Voglia di Gilda***

Nello stesso periodo del 1° potenziamento del mio Deck di Carte da gioco, nasce un'altra idea, sempre continuando a interfacciarmi con il caro @libertycrypto27, la Gilda, volevamo creare un qualcosa che fosse riconducibile ai nostri colori, l'Italia, e decidemmo di farlo con una Gilda tutta italiana, composta da giocatori italiani, decidemmo tutto quanto, nome, ruoli (avrei voluto, lo dico una volta di più, che il Leader delle Gilda fosse stato lui, ma non c'è stato verso, ho dovuto cedere e ricoprire questo ruolo), annessione di giocatori, potenziamenti della Gilda da effettuare, e altro ancora, era il Gennaio del 2020, mancava poco all'inizio della maledetta pandemia da covid-19, ma anche in quel caso, di quell'evento così nefasto, riuscii e riuscimmo a trovare un piccolo bicchiere dove affogare i dispiaceri per quello che stava succedendo intorno a noi, il bicchiere in questione era proprio Splinterlands...

***Accelerazione totale***

L'esigenza di essere più performante e di salire definitivamente nelle maggiori Leghe fu lo stimolo principale per farmi decidere di fare gli ulteriori potenziamenti, a livello di Evocatori e di Carte, decisi di fare un discreto investimento su Splinterlands, tra quello che apportai a livello di acquisti diretti e quello che ottenni, a diverso titolo, tra ricompense varie, alla fine della giostra, durante quell'anno 2020, feci il salto definitivo, non ricordo bene se centrai l'obiettivo di avere tutti gli Evocatori al massimo livello entro la fine di quell'anno, ma penso che a distanza di un anno dall'iscrizione, nel mese di ottobre 2020, la maggiore degli Evocatori fosse già al Top, e le Leghe Campione divennero il principale scenario di battaglia dove giocavo, se non fosse che proprio nel mese di ottobre di quell'anno ci fu una modifica del regolamento di Splinterlands, se non ricordo male ci fu l'introduzione del Deck Power, che ulteriore condizione da soddisfare per l'accesso alle varie Leghe...

Avevo un Deck Power superiore ai 400k, non mi mancava molto ai 500k, necessari per approdare alle Leghe Campione, continuai a potenziare giorno dopo giorno il mio Deck, finché i 500k non vennero raggiunti, le condizioni di formato isolato, causate delle normative stringenti alla circolazione delle persone introdotte per l'emergenza covid, non fecero altro che aumentare ulteriormente il mio già forte grado di attaccamento a questa piattaforma di gioco, facevo sessioni di partite molto intense e prolungate, che determinavano generose ricompense all'epoca, che venivano costantemente reinvestite, con il solo scopo di provare a raggiungere il Top assoluto...

***Vivere un sogno***

E' quello che successe realmente, nell'anno 2021, non rammento bene come partì questa storia, ma mi ritrovai a controllare quasi quotidianamente il valore del mio Deck di Carte di Splinterlands, per tutto il 2020 avevo costantemente reinvestito i miei guadagni giornalieri su questa piattaforma nell'acquisto e potenziamento di quante più Carte possibili, andandone a maxare parecchie, per cui nell'anno successivo, il 2021 appunto, assistettì a quella che potrei definire come *un'esplosione del mio Deck di Carte*...

La valorizzazione complessiva del mio Deck a gennaio 2021 era di circa 7,000 dollari, ci fu una crescita costante, imperiosa, potente, al punto tale che il mio Deck dopo pochissimo tempo superò i 10k, poi 12, 15, 18, 20, 25, 30, non si fermava più, mi sembrava proprio di essere dentro a una favola, e mi ripetevo ogni giorno, dopo aver controllato la valorizzazione...

"Ma sta succedendo proprio a me ?? Non è un sogno, dal quale mi risveglierò prima o poi??"

No, non era un sogno, o meglio, lo era, ma era anche un'incredibile realtà, che si stava materializzando e concretizzando sotto ai miei occhi, ancora parzialmente increduli per quello che stava realmente capitando alla mia persona, la spinta, la forte crescita del mio account continuò, saltò il muro dei 40,000 dollari, anche quello dei 50,000, arrivando a sfiorare i 60,000, precisamente l'incremento si fermò a 59,000 e spiccioli, per poi scendere fino a poco più di 50k e assestarsi...
