<div class="text-justify"> El año 2020 sin duda fue un tiempo donde la humanidad fue brutalmente golpeada por la carga viral asociada con el coronavirus, específicamente por el SARS-CoV-2 donde hay evidencia tangibles del grave daño que esta especie ocasiono a la humanidad, sin embargo, gracias a la ciencia se logran diseñar un proceso de vacunación que ha logrado detener el avance del virus en cuestión.

<div class="text-justify"> Paradójicamente a poco tiempo de haber creído que la batalla contra el coronavirus estaba ganada, empiezan a aparecer otros virus como lo es el asociado con la viruela de mano, donde ha mediado del mes de mayo del 2022 se empezaron a emitir alerta epidemiológicas asociadas con la propagación viral de la especie.

<div class="text-justify"> En consecuencia, la viruela de mono es considerada como una enfermedad zoonótica catalogada como rara,  tiene como vertientes de ataque al virus de la viruela de mono del genero Orthopoxvirus, combinado con Poxviridae que también incluye al virus vaccinia y variola, por lo cual es una combinación extraña que genera efectos negativos sobre la salud humana.

<div class="text-justify"> Y aunque en un principio se pensaba que solo se trasmitía por contacto, recientes estudios demuestran que la especie viral puede trasmitirse por el aire a través de las goticulas de saliva de un agente infectado, de manera que el objetivo principal de estas líneas de escritura se centra en la evaluación asociada con la propagación de virus a través del aire.

<div class="text-justify"> La transmisibilidad de la viruela de mono, se había reducido al contacto entre el huésped del virus y un nuevo infectado, sin embargo, esto no resulta de un todo cierto, ya que recientemente a través de la investigación que se desarrollada a través del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas de España, se ha comprobado la presencia de elevadas concentraciones del virus en su variante monkeypox virus en muestras de aire y en la saliva de personas infectadas, de manera que de acuerdo a los investigadores, la posibilidad de que la enfermedad pueda trasmitirse a través de muestra de aire es una realidad latente, aunque el contacto directo siga siendo la forma de contagio principal.

<div class="text-justify"> En consecuencia el virus puede trasmitirse entre animales y seres humanos, presentando una sintomatología parecida a la de la viruela, que fue erradicada en 1980 y aunque su transmisibilidad, mortalidad e infección son más bajas, no deja de ser un problema para la sociedad.

<div class="text-justify"> De manera que mayo del 2022 abrió un gran foco de contaminación y propagación a causa de la viruela de mano, donde se estiman una cantidad de casos positivos en más de 79 mil personas, siendo la principal causa de contaminación el contacto directo, contribuyendo gradualmente el contagio a través de micro gotas de saliva y por vía aéreas, de allí que no se desestima esta posibilidad.

<div class="text-justify"> De manera que a lo largo del estudio, se han logrado analizar  muestras salivales en más de 44 paciente con afecciones cutáneas asociadas con el virus en cuestión, donde se ha logrado detectar que el 85% de los pacientes presentaban el ADN viral, y donde más del 66% de las muestran presentaban una alta capacidad infecciosa, por lo cual se asume un virus altamente activo. La detección del virus en aire se logró detectar mediante el uso de filtros de nano fibras expuestos a 2 metros de los pacientes infectados, de allí la observación de la propagación de la especie viral por el aire.

<div class="text-justify"> Sin duda el conocimiento científico es indispensable para el desarrollo humano y más aún cuando aplicamos metodologías científicas, analíticas y biológicas para lograr detectar la influencia viral, ya que debemos estar preparados y no permitir que este tipo de especies causen tantos inconvenientes como los ocurridos en el 2020 a causa del covid-19.

<div class="text-justify"> The year 2020 was undoubtedly a time when humanity was brutally hit by the viral load associated with the coronavirus, specifically SARS-CoV-2 where there is tangible evidence of the serious damage that this species caused to humanity, however, thanks to science, a vaccination process has been designed that has managed to stop the advance of the virus in question.</div>

<div class="text-justify"> Paradoxically, shortly after believing that the battle against the coronavirus had been won, other viruses began to appear, such as the one associated with hand pox, where epidemiological alerts associated with the viral spread of the species began to be issued in mid-May 2022. </div>

<div class="text-justify"> Consequently, monkeypox is considered a zoonotic disease classified as rare, and its attacking agents are monkeypox virus of the genus Orthopoxvirus, combined with Poxviridae, which also includes vaccinia and variola viruses, making it a rare combination that generates negative effects on human health.      </div>

<div class="text-justify"> And although initially thought to be transmitted only by contact, recent studies show that the viral species can be transmitted through the air via saliva droplets from an infected agent, so the main focus of these lines of writing is on the evaluation associated with the spread of viruses through the air.  </div>

<div class="text-justify"> Consequently, the virus can be transmitted between animals and humans, presenting a symptomatology similar to that of smallpox, which was eradicated in 1980 and although its transmissibility, mortality and infection are lower, it is still a problem for society. </div>

<div class="text-justify"> Thus, May 2022 opened a great source of contamination and propagation due to hand pox, where the number of positive cases is estimated at more than 79 thousand people, the main cause of contamination being direct contact, gradually contributing to contagion through micro droplets of saliva and through the air, hence this possibility is not dismissed.

<div class="text-justify"> Throughout the study, salivary samples have been analyzed in more than 44 patients with skin conditions associated with the virus in question, where it has been possible to detect that 85% of the patients had viral DNA, and where more than 66% of the samples showed a high infectious capacity, which assumes a highly active virus. The detection of the virus in air was achieved through the use of nano-fiber filters exposed 2 meters from the infected patients, hence the observation of the spread of the viral species through the air.</div>

<div class="text-justify"> Thus, being alert to the evolution of the virus associated with monkeypox and detecting the routes of contagion allow us to act in order to prevent its spread, as well as to implement epidemiological strategies that allow us to deal with it.     </div>
