 # *Hi my fellow Architecture+Design lovers,*  *How are you guys? I hope you're all good. For about two weeks, I was not able to publish the content on this platform. The faces of our home members had to delay the content as a result of a worry. Exploration of architecture is not possible to end up any day. Changes may occur in a single location to another. In the historical trip of Kataragama, many content covered with many places, covering another side. Most of the Tamil devotees offer sacrifices for Hindu gods in the temples known as Devala. These are small buildings that are not very large. Many devotees believe that these shrines are miracles. Therefore, this God designated by various names, many people come from far away from far away.*  *The Ruhunu Kataragama Devalaya is said to be the sacred land of the god Sri Skanda Kumara and is a sacred land of other gods. Since the vehicle of the god Skanda Kumara is considered to be a peacock, the peacock symbol is marked on the top of the entrance wall. The gate made of steel also has the peacock symbol. The building where the alms hall is located is newly constructed. Its roof is made in a triangular shape and a hollow space has been created in the middle with rectangular walls. This was built to provide food and shelter for the devotees.*    *Devotees perform certain rituals while worshipping the deity. Dry leaves are hung with the intention that if done, the devotees' wishes will be fulfilled. The concrete pillars of these Hindu temples were decorated with colorful Hindu motifs. The lotus flower emblem was especially visible everywhere. The concrete pillars were decorated with Hindu motifs in yellow, red, blue, and green. The floors here are covered with modern tiles, so regular cleaning is important.*   *The roof of this Hindu temple is covered with clay tiles. The roof is supported by concrete pillars of different sizes. The temple also features statues and images of imaginary gods. The buildings are also covered with several gates made of iron, especially since there are pots with money here. These Hindu temples of various sizes are home to several concrete towers with different designs. They feature traditional Hindu features with different designs than the ones seen in the previous buildings. In fact, the peacock emblem is the main vehicle of the god Sri Skanda Kumara. Also, the main weapon used by Skanda Kumara, the trident, is carved in front of it. In addition, when we see the colorful concrete towers, we get a special attraction.*    *Our explorations clearly show that the traditional Hindu architectural designs found in Hindu temples are truly unique and fascinating. In fact, when you see these, you feel a sense of curiosity and even fear at some point. In fact, the fact that Hindu gods often appear in a frightening appearance and the weapons and animals used for this certainly add a certain sense of fear and terror to the onlookers. But I can clearly mention these as unique architectural elements to study. The four great Hindu temples have a somewhat frightening appearance to show that their gods punish wrongdoers. As I was leaving the grounds of these four great temples, I saw a temple built for the goddess Sri Valli Mata. It is built in a very simple manner, and my history books have mentioned that the goddess Valli Mata can be described as a very fierce goddess.*    *It can be said that the Kataragama sacred city is a place for all types of devotees to worship their masters because there are shrines for all religions here. I also had the opportunity to visit the only Muslim mosque that I saw here. There were only a few traditional Muslim architectural elements to see here. Since this mosque was closed from the inside when I went, I did not get the opportunity to present the architectural elements inside to you. There are Arabic letters here. Although I have no knowledge about these, I am more interested in the beauty here.
