Desde que el mundo es mundo, el ser humano ha buscado la razón de su existencia y del sentido de la vida. Algunos han mentido y ultrajado en nombre de esta misión, lo cual no vengo a cuestionar hoy. Solo es una reflexión que me hago en estas horas de soledad y me encuentro con mi Yo interior. Mi amiga que me acompaña en las buenas y las malas, en mis tristezas y alegrías. Sobre todo en esos momentos de mi vida que me siento frágil y tan susceptible. Está a mi lado sin cuestionarme y su voz me invita a la calma y a la cordura.

He cometido errores que quizás no podré enmendarlos, pero haré lo posible por ser mejor ser humano. No vengo a hablar de mí, sino del ser humano y su búsqueda incansable. ¿Qué es lo que buscan? Que solo ha llevado el planeta a su extinción y donde se han perdido tantas vidas valiosas. Sí, valiosas, porque todos los que venimos a este planeta tenemos una misión. Algunos se van sin siquiera percatarse de ello, pero esa es otra historia más complicada. En realidad, a las personas esto no les interesa porque no les genera ningún beneficio material ni económico.

Siempre he tenido afán por saber y conocer de tantas cosas que no le encuentro sentido. Inclusive, a veces me he sentido contrariada al no encontrarle respuesta a mis preguntas o no encontrarle sentido a las cosas. He leído muchos autores que me han creado expectativas y ganas de saber más de la vida. En este ir y venir de algunos he sentido que, si bien no hay una verdad infalible, han llenado mis vacíos existenciales. Otros, por el contrario, solo han escrito cosas vanas y sin sentido. Es por esta razón que siento e intuyo que lo que ha deseado o ansiado el hombre no es lo correcto.

En este punto debo rectificar, ya que no ha sido lo correcto para mí. Los seres humanos somos diferentes y, por lo tanto, tenemos una apreciación de la vida distinta. Como dicen por ahí, todo depende del cristal con el que se mire y cada cabeza es un mundo. Hay un común denominador, buscamos algo que a veces no sabemos lo que es, pero está ahí dentro de nosotros. Lo que para mí y muchas otras personas es una búsqueda espiritual, a otros solo los mueve la codicia, poder, riqueza y juventud. Eso da tristeza, la vida es tan linda y es el hombre quien termina complicándola. </div>

Por siglos el ser humano para darle sentido a su vida ha hecho énfasis en dos aspectos; transformar todas las cosas en oro y encontrar la fuente de la juventud. Obviando los sentimientos, el corazón y la felicidad. Creo que le da miedo hallarse porque sabrán de lo que son capaces y prefieren vivir en la ignorancia. Y por esto han silenciado su voz y perdido la libertad. ¿En qué lugar de la historia perdió su camino el ser humano, dejó de sentir y de amar? No lo sé, pero todavía está a tiempo de rectificar y poner su granito de arena para mejorar las condiciones del planeta. Quizás es una utopía mía y de mis sueños locos.

La obsesión de vivir eternamente los ha llevado a la locura, sin querer entender que no existe la fuente de la juventud. La única manera de perdurar en el tiempo es cumpliendo nuestra misión en la tierra y haciendo buenas acciones, aun cuando no se reciba nada a cambio y que estas acciones produzcan un cambio para el bien de la humanidad y estas sean recordadas por las futuras generaciones. Si no es así, seremos simples mortales. Todavía es tiempo de reflexionar, de encontrarse y descubrir su esencia. No debemos esperar nuestro último respiro para darnos cuenta de que desperdiciamos la vida.

Por otro lado, el poder, dinero, riquezas y la necesidad de obtener cada día más bienes materiales también los han llevado a los extremos; esto ha sido motivo de enfrentamientos y guerras a través de los siglos. A estas alturas no aceptan que no se llevarán nada cuando llegue la muerte. Cuando esto lo entienda el ser humano, hallará por fin la verdad de su existencia. Entonces encontrará su misión en el planeta y crecerá espiritualmente. Esto no significa la grandeza, ni hallar la fuente de la juventud, ni la ciudad de oro, ni transformar las cosas en oro. Pero será un despertar, y saber quienes somos y adonde vamos es fundamental para nuestra existencia. </div>

Sé que todos somos diferentes, cada quien busca lo que mejor le convenga. Yo no soy quien para juzgar a otros y lo que hayan hecho. Sin embargo, las discrepancias y el no saber la verdad de los hechos es lo que me deja atónita, y allí es cuando cuestiono la historia, y me pregunto si fue así como sucedió en realidad. La mayoría de las veces lo que ha sucedido en la historia de la humanidad no quedó plasmado como realmente fue, porque los vencedores tengan o no la razón, estos fueron los que escribieron la historia. Así nos lo inculcó la sociedad desde que somos niños y el que piensa diferente está loco de remate.

Considero que la humanidad ha llegado a un punto donde se evidenciarán grandes verdades, sin embargo, no estamos preparados para conocerlas. He intentado a través de los libros de calmar mi curiosidad innata y han sido ellos los que han incentivado mi pasión por la lectura. Es una sensación inigualable leer un libro y saber que llena tus expectativas y te da un poco de claridad sobre algunos asuntos de la historia. El que tiene un libro en sus manos tiene el conocimiento y es capaz de volar con la imaginación. OMG y pensar que hace muchos años atrás la mujer no tenia derecho a leer ni escribir y mucho menos leer un libro.

Mi mente curiosa no se calma. Siempre anda intensa y si no halla la respuesta se esconde en un rincón y me es difícil comunicarme con ella y sacarla de su letargo. Siempre busca en que estar ocupada en algo, cualquier proyecto. Ahora entiendo por qué algunos adultos, que no eran mis hermano ni mis padres, me llamaban fastidiosa. Ellos me incentivaron a la lectura, me traían los libros a casa. Estos iban pasando de mano en mano. Luego las tertulias eran con chocolate, domplinas y libros. Antes era dificil adquirir libros, eran muy caros. Ibamos mucho a la biblioteca pública y teníamos amigos que sí podían comprarlos y los prestaban.

He sido así desde niña y dudo que a mi edad vaya a cambiar, como decía mi abuelita Bertita´s, esta muchachita siempre le busca las cinco patas al gato. Considero que sentir curiosidad y dudar de ciertas informaciones no es malo. Amigos, a mis manos han llegado libros de todos los géneros literarios y he disfrutado de ellos. Considero que no hay autor pequeño y el que se atreve a escribir con el corazón puede ayudar a otros a encontrar lo que busca; en una pequeña palabra o frase se puede encontrar la respuesta a tus preguntas. No estoy de acuerdo con los analistas y críticos literarios que se creen que se lo saben todo.

Hay escritores que han llenado mis expectativas y vacíos existenciales y con los cuales he hayado respuestas que buscaba. Entre ellos se destacan; Caldwell Taylor, JJ Benitez, Julio Verne, y Morris West. Sin embargo, destaco que todos los libros que han pasado por mis manos me han servido para adquirir conocimientos del mundo. Muchos piensan que leer a Barbara Cartland esté vetado y prohibido porque no es literatura, son solo novelas de amor. Pues sí es literatura; y hay personas que les gusta. En mi caso disfruto las descripciones tan detalladas del ambiente y paisaje ingles, de sus costumbres e indiosincracias y esto es conocimiento.

Lo que digan los demás sobre tus preferencias en la lectura no debe ser relevante, se puede coincidir en opiniones. He leído a Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Miguel Otero Silva, Viktor Frankl, Miguel De Cervantes , Charles Dickens, Agatha Christie y muchos otros. Quizas los seres humanos han conseguido lo que buscan incansablemente, esto no lo sé, pero siempre habrá algo que se ignora. Considero que no se debe creer que lo sabemos todo y que somos infalibles, pues nunca lograremos tener el conocimiento total del mundo. </div>

Soy una loca soñadora como muchos seres humanos que han pasado su vida buscando la verdad, tratando de alcanzar la paz espiritual y la felicidad. Por el contrario, otros solo buscan el poder y las riquezas, pero ambas son válidas porque el hombre necesita creer en algo para anclarse a este mundo terrenal. Considero que la mayoría de los problemas de la humanidad han sucedido porque todos creemos tener la verdad en nuestras manos y el conocimiento para someter a otros. Si todos fuéramos flexibles, el mundo fuera totalmente diferente.

Para mí es un error considerar que el conocimiento es poder. Las personas deben usarlo para hacer el bien; es una falacia decir que nuestra verdad está por encima de la de los demás. Además, la respuesta a nuestras preguntas podemos encontrarlas en cualquier lugar, en un libro, una tertulia entre amigos, disfrutando de un atardecer y muchas otras actividades. Creo en los seres humanos que desean el bien de la humanidad. Sé que cada día somos más los que apuestan por un mundo mejor, por el amor como motor que nos impulsa y por la felicidad.

For as long as the world has existed, human beings have sought the reason for their existence and the meaning of life. Some have lied and outraged in the name of this mission, which I am not here to question today. It is only a reflection that I make myself in these hours of solitude and I meet my inner self. My friend who accompanies me in good times and bad, in my sorrows and joys. Especially in those moments of my life when I feel fragile and so susceptible. She is by my side without question and her voice invites me to calm and sanity.

I have made mistakes that I may not be able to fix, but I will do my best to be a better human being. I am not here to talk about me, but about human beings and their tireless search. What is it that they seek? That has only led the planet to its extinction and where so many valuable lives have been lost. Yes, valuable, because all of us who come to this planet have a mission. Some leave without even realizing it, but that is another, more complicated story. In reality, people are not interested in this because it does not generate any material or economic benefit for them.

I have always had an eagerness to know and learn about so many things that I find no sense in it. Sometimes I have even felt upset when I have not found an answer to my questions or when I have not found any sense in things. I have read many authors that have created expectations and desire to know more about life. In this coming and going of some of them I have felt that, although there is no infallible truth, they have filled my existential voids. Others, on the contrary, have only written vain and meaningless things. It is for this reason that I feel and intuit that what man has desired or longed for is not the right thing.

At this point I must rectify, since it has not been the right thing for me. Human beings are different and, therefore, we have a different appreciation of life. As they say, everything depends on the glass through which you look at it and each head is a world. There is a common denominator, we look for something that sometimes we don't know what it is, but it is there inside us. What for me and many other people is a spiritual search, others are only moved by greed, power, wealth and youth. That is sad, life is so beautiful and it is man who ends up complicating it. </div>

Ignoring feelings, heart and happiness. I think they are afraid to find themselves because they will know what they are capable of and prefer to live in ignorance. And because of this they have silenced their voice and lost their freedom. Where in history did human beings lose their way, stop feeling and loving? I do not know, but there is still time to rectify and do his bit to improve the conditions of the planet. Maybe it is a utopia of mine and of my crazy dreams.

I know we are all different, everyone looks for what suits them best. I am not one to judge others and what they have done. However, the discrepancies and not knowing the truth of the facts is what leaves me stunned, and that is when I question history, and I wonder if that is how it really happened. Most of the time what has happened in the history of mankind is not recorded as it really was, because the victors, whether they were right or wrong, were the ones who wrote history. That is how society has instilled it in us since we were children, and anyone who thinks differently is crazy as hell. <div>

I believe that humanity has reached a point where great truths will become evident, however, we are not prepared to know them. I have tried through books to calm my innate curiosity and they have been the ones that have encouraged my passion for reading. It is an incomparable sensation to read a book and know that it fulfills your expectations and gives you some clarity on some of the issues of history. The one who has a book in his hands has the knowledge and is able to fly with imagination. OMG and to think that many years ago women had no right to read or write, let alone read a book.

My curious mind does not calm down. It is always intense and if it does not find the answer it hides in a corner and it is difficult for me to communicate with it and get it out of its lethargy. It is always looking for something to occupy itself with, any project. Now I understand why some adults, who were not my brother or my parents, called me a nuisance. They encouraged me to read, they brought me books at home. They were passed from hand to hand. Then the get-togethers were with chocolate, domplinas and books. Before it was difficult to acquire books, they were very expensive. We went to the public library a lot and we had friends who could buy them and lent them out.

I have been like that since I was a child and I doubt that at my age I will change, as my grandmother Bertita's used to say, this little girl is always looking for the five legs to the cat. I consider that being curious and doubting certain information is not a bad thing. Friends, books of all literary genres have come into my hands and I have enjoyed them. I consider that there is no small author and the one who dares to write from the heart can help others to find what they are looking for; in a small word or phrase you can find the answer to your questions. I do not agree with literary analysts and critics who think they know it all.

There are writers who have filled my expectations and existential voids and with whom I have found the answers I was looking for. Among them stand out; Caldwell Taylor, JJ Benitez, Jules Verne, and Morris West. However, I emphasize that all the books that have passed through my hands have served me to acquire knowledge of the world. Many people think that reading Barbara Cartland is forbidden because it is not literature, it is only love novels. Well, it is literature; and there are people who like it. In my case I enjoy the very detailed descriptions of the English environment and landscape, of their customs and Indiansincracias and this is knowledge.

What others say about your reading preferences should not be relevant, you can agree on opinions. I have read Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Miguel Otero Silva, Viktor Frankl, Miguel De Cervantes, Charles Dickens, Agatha Christie and many others. Perhaps human beings have achieved what they tirelessly seek, this I do not know, but there will always be something that is ignored. I believe that we should not believe that we know everything and that we are infallible, because we will never achieve total knowledge of the world. <div>

I am a crazy dreamer like many human beings who have spent their lives searching for truth, trying to reach spiritual peace and happiness. On the contrary, others only seek power and riches, but both are valid because man needs to believe in something to anchor himself to this earthly world. I believe that most of mankind's problems have happened because we all believe we have the truth in our hands and the knowledge to subdue others. If we were all flexible, the world would be totally different.

For me it is a mistake to consider that knowledge is power. People should use it to do good; it is a fallacy to say that our truth is above that of others. Besides, the answer to our questions can be found anywhere, in a book, a chat with friends, enjoying a sunset and many other activities. I believe in human beings who desire the good of humanity. I know that every day there are more and more of us who bet for a better world, for love as the engine that drives us and for happiness.
