El problema de la electricidad cada día se hace más acentuado, y lo que alega la empresa prestadora del servicio es que son cortes programados. Encima de esto no tengo gas. No necesito decir en qué parte del planeta vivo.

No me había enterado que era un mantenimiento programado, y estuvimos esperando hasta las tres de la tarde. A esa hora ya no veía del hambre. Entonces decidimos implementar el plan de contingencia, el cual consiste en cocinar en el horno de leña.

A mí me gusta la comida en leña, pero no prepararla porque el humo me irrita los ojos. Prefiero acostarme en la hamaca y esperar que me llamen a comer. Sin embargo, como toda esposa responsable y hogareña, tengo que asumirlo.

Mi hijo Jesús y mi hermano Manuel se encargaron de cocinar; asaron carne de res, arepas y yo hice la ensalada. También tenía dos plátanos  y a última hora decidí ponerlo a la brasa. 

OMG, me distraje y se quemaron, quedaron negros como el carbón. 

Las persona son algo complicadas, me parece el colmo de la locura discutir por unos plátanos quemados o al carbón. Ay no, se estresan por todo. No le di a nadie y estaban deliciosos.

El lunes espero la demanda de divorcio por unos plátanos quemados, que no vi en el acta de matrimonio hace treinta y un años. Seguro estaba en las letras chiquitas. Tengan cuidado chica, al momento de firmar lean primero. A veces el amor nos pone sordas, ciegas y mudas.

Estoy segura que los plátanos quemados no son causa del divorcio,  a menos que haya un nuevo pronunciamiento y lo hayan incluido. </div>

Es muy fácil preparar estos plátanos, y no requiere de una receta. Solo puyé los plátanos con un tenedor y los puse en la parrillera sobre las brasas. Eso sí, deben estar pendiente de que no se les quemen como me sucedió a mí por andar pendiente del Discord y del bochinche con las muchachas.

Para mí estaban deliciosos aun quemados, y más rindieron porque nadie quiso comérselos. Me los comí solita los dos plátanos.

Plátano es plátano, y lo disfruto como me lo den;  asados, fritos, horneados y sancochados. Con mantequilla y queso.

Amigos de la Comunidad #FoodiesBeeHive solo les dejo este tips; cuando pongan plátano en brasas no se descuiden. Estén pendientes, no se pongan a chatear por whatsapp, ni a oír música y bailar en  Discord.

The electricity problem is becoming more and more accentuated every day, and what the company that provides the service claims is that they are scheduled outages. On top of this I have no gas. I don't need to say what part of the planet I live in.

I had not heard that it was scheduled maintenance, and we were waiting until three o'clock in the afternoon. By that time I could no longer see because of hunger. So we decided to implement the contingency plan, which consisted of cooking in the wood-burning oven.

I like wood-fired food, but I don't prepare it because the smoke irritates my eyes. I prefer to lie in the hammock and wait to be called to eat. However, like any responsible, homely wife, I have to face it.

My son Jesus and my brother Manuel took care of the cooking; they grilled beef, arepas and I made the salad.  I also had two plantains and at the last minute I decided to grill it. 

OMG, I got distracted and they burned, they were black as coal.

People are a bit complicated, it seems to me the height of madness to argue over burnt or charcoal-broiled bananas. Oh no, they stress about everything. I didn't give them to anyone and they were delicious.

On Monday I expect the divorce suit for some burnt plantains, which I didn't see in the marriage certificate thirty-one years ago. I'm sure it was in the fine print. Be careful girl, when you sign, read first. Sometimes love makes us deaf, blind and dumb. 

I'm sure burnt bananas are not grounds for divorce, unless there is a new pronouncement and they have included it. </div>

It is very easy to prepare these plantains, and it doesn't require a recipe. I just pierced the plantains with a fork and put them on the grill over the coals. Of course, you have to be careful not to burn them as happened to me because I was watching the Discord and the girls.

For me they were delicious even burned, and they were even better because nobody wanted to eat them. I ate the two plantains by myself.

Plantain is plantain, and I enjoy it however they give it to me; roasted, fried, baked and boiled. With butter and cheese.

Friends of the #FoodiesBeeHive Community I just leave you with these tips; when you put plantains on coals don't be careless. Be aware, don't chat on whatsapp, or listen to music and dance on Discord.
