Needless to say I was very upset - hours of work gone for nothing. But then I wanted to fix the noise for next time and had to find out what was causing it. The strange thing was that this noise will only occur when I'm talking (i.e. if I stop talking, there is no noise). This means that it's not a physical background noise that it's picking up around my house, because no noise will stop when I'm talking (i.e. insects don't care if I talk or not). So what is the problem? I did 5 things to fix it. The funny thing is after I did the last thing which I'll talk about in my video, now the sound in my recordings sound ridiculously professional, like I'm talking on radio or something. Another possible factor is that your pc isn't shielded well and there is interference coming from the internal components, affecting the audio signal pathways. On top of that, it's possible to have improper earthing/grounding on your house electrical supply that can cause audio interference. Glad you got it fixed!
