It's true that people can earn money from "traditional" social media (as if it's been around for generations!), but that's only _**after**_ acquiring insane numbers of followers.  It's like living the real-life version of Rising Star only without the sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll.  Many try, few succeed.  

For many people, traditional social media is a rigged system benefitting only The Few.

Hive let's you start from 0.00000000 and a few days later you receive your first earnings.  Initially modest or even embarrasing, a point is reached when earnings are good enough to begin delegating and spending on games.
