Coming soon Raksha Badhan......... Rakshabandhan or Rakhi is a festival of the hindus people.the festival ritual is one principally between sisters and brothers,observed both before after she gets married thereby marking her continued relationaship with her natal home and brothers. On this day,a sister ties a rakhi around the wrist of her brother in order to pray for his prosperity,health and well being.the brother in return offers a gifts and promises to protect his sister from any harm and under every circumstance .i have one beautiful proverbs that is 'my sisters have taught me'. it was nice growing up with someone like you someone to lean on ,some one to count on..... raksha bandhan is now considred as a day to celebrate the sacred relation of brother and sisters. Raksha mean protection and bhandhan mean binding or bound.
