La dislalia es considerada como una dificultad para articular fonemas. Mas no es ocasionada por un trastorno neurológico esta afecta el aprendizaje en los niños y debe ser tratada a tiempo y con ayuda de un especialista se pueden lograr grandes resultados para que el aprendizaje no se vea afectado.

Actualmente existen dos tipos de dislalia, la fonética y fonológica. La fonética puede verse evidenciada en la coordinación motriz. Suelen verse casos en el que el niño sustituye fonemas intercambiando la z por la s, sustituciones de f por p, entre otros. Mientras que la fonológica es aquella en la que el niño tiene errores de pronunciación ,como ocurre frecuentemente al decir maeta por maestra, titate por quítate, difífil por difícil y así sucesivamente se van mostrando errores al pronunciar correctamente las palabras.

No resulta difícil encontrar la variedad de alternativas que pueden tratarse para este tipo de dificultad. La primera opción es contactar un terapista de lenguaje que pueda garantizar el avance en el niño. Claro esta haber hecho previamente los análisis necesarios que comprueben que posee este trastorno y que por ende pueda ser referido. También se pueden realizar cesiones de juegos que permitan la articulación de palabras y reconocimiento.

Los padres en casa pueden hacer estimulación muscular de las vocales, utilizando dibujos o palabras escritas que permitan que el niño observe como es el movimiento vocálico para llevar a cabo la pronunciación correcta.  A esto se le llama lenguaje espontaneo que el niño ejercite fuera de las sesiones de terapéuticas y que se le garantice confianza en si mismo al decir yo si puedo lograrlo.
