We were the best of friends-- Alexis and Maxine.  When I met them, my world turned around. We were like sisters for life and I couldn't imagine teenage life without them. We were inseperable. We stick up for each other and we got each other's back. We shared the deepest secrets. Even who our first kisses were.

Just like any other bestfriends, we also have our strike-one-not 
-to-lose-the-other kind of thing. Both of them were classmates in our major subjects so I was kind of the outcast among the 3 of us. We were classmates in the minors though so they had to fill me in with the happenings that I missed. Moving forward, I liked a guy in which Maxine had a thing for after I told her it didn't work for us. But I had to find out about it through Alexis. Then, Maxine got married to an outcast I knew way back highschool. Prior to their marriage, he was interested with Alexis. That put Maxine to a rage that Alexis could've planned something. It may seem selfish but I'm with Alexis at that time. I know all along that she wouldn't hurt a friend, especially Maxine. After that, Maxine gets paranoid almost all the time that the 3 of use hangout. She always thought of everything that happened and derived to a plan not to care at all. We made up after few months of not talking to each other but the fire started burning once again. Somebody must have pulled the trigger.

I know things here are twisted but it happened. Somewhere along the way I still hope we'd get back to our old self. I mean, we clicked and we got people jealous because of our strong bond. I missed that. I hope they do as well. To Maxine, I do wish you're happy with your new set of friends by now. Alexis and I tried hard to get you back but you kept on pushing us away. Just so you know, Alexis may have closed doors for you but I never did. I'm still waiting.
