Aitor intentaba todo para volver sus dientes duros, al igual que sus amigos, que nacieron con ellos. Es por eso, que un profesor castor, cuyo nombre era Francisco, puso todos sus esfuerzos para enseñarle a Aitor a usar sus dientes para romper ramas de arboles y hacer su propia madriguera. 

Intentaron muchas técnicas. Siendo la primera, durar varios días sin lavarse los dientes, pero no funciono, y todo lo que gano fue un aliento tremendo. También intentaron la técnica de usar manos y piernas para debilitar árboles, pero no funciono, pues sus manitas eran muy débiles. 

Tras muchos fracasos, Aitor empezó a sentirse muy triste, y de solo pensar que sus padres estarían muy decepcionados con él porque no era igual a los demás castores del estanque, lo ponía mucho más triste.
Unos días mas tarde mientras nadaba por un estanque vecino, otros castores se le acercaron a decirle cosas muy feas:
--Ahí va el castor que no sabe hacer madrigueras, que tiene los dientes y 
manos débiles. 

Muy triste intentaba con todas sus fuerzas derribar árboles para construir su madriguera, pero no tenía éxito. Por su tristeza Aitor empezó a comer muchas ramas, hojitas y raíces acuáticas, por lo que empezó a consumir vitaminas y minerales que lo pusieron grande y fuerte.

Un día, acompañando a otros castores a buscar arboles y ramas para construir sus madrigueras, Aitor intentó derribar un árbol el solo, y para sorpresa de muchos, el árbol empezó a tambalearse.
--¡Se cae el árbol! – Gritaron los otros castores.
