### ¿Cuál es mi instrumento favorito?

<br>

El violonchelo. Considero que es mi favorito porque me gusta mucho como suena, me hace sentir que la piel se me eriza con tan sólo escucharlo. Es una sensación que me hace sentir muy bien y feliz.

Hace unos 3 años comencé a aprender a tocan el Violoncelo, estaba en un momento de mi vida que sentí que debía hacer algo nuevo y recuerdo que me acerqué a la casa de la cultura que está aquí en el pueblo donde vivo, ahí fue donde conocí por casualidad a quien se convertiría mi profesora de cello, Mariangela.

Ella estaba ahí casualmente limpiando y acomodando violoncelos cuando yo llegué a preguntar por clases de guitarra. En ese momento no había profesor, así que me quedé charlando con ella mientras veía aquel instrumento. Me causó curiosidad pues siempre me ha llamado la atención la música instrumental, Cada vez que escuchaba alguna banda con alguna versión instrumental o cuando escuchaba detenidamente, me gustaba escuchar el sonido de los violines y el violonchelo.

> About 3 years ago I began to learn to play the Cello, I was at a moment in my life when I felt I had to do something new and I remember that I went to the cultural center that is here in the town where I live, that's where I met by chance who would become my cello teacher, Mariangela.

> She was there casually cleaning and arranging cellos when I arrived to ask about guitar lessons. At that time there was no teacher, so I stayed chatting with her while I saw that instrument. She made me curious because instrumental music has always attracted my attention. Every time she listened to a band with an instrumental version or when I listened carefully, I liked to hear the sound of violins and cello.

Ella me preguntó si no estaba interesada en aprender a tocar el violonchelo, y fue cuando me mostro como ella lo tocaba. Y en ese momento fue mágico para mí. Aquel sonido tan peculiar era el que me llamaba para incitarme a ser yo también capaz de aprender a tocar. Después de ese momento decidí aprender con ella.

Después de una semana de prácticas las cuales fueron complicadas pues se me dificultó mucho sujetar bien el arco, se me convocó para hacer los trámites para solicitar el préstamo de un Violonchelo. Debo confesar que se me hizo algo difícil tratar de conseguir el dinero de la pequeña cuota que debía aportar para aquel préstamo, pero después de tanto conseguí como traerme el instrumento a casa.

El momento de selección de aquel instrumento significó mucho para mí, ya que sentí que tenia una parte de mí que podía expresar en partituras. Hablando de partituras, aun se me dificulta concentrarme para leer bien las partituras, se que debo reforzarme más con eso.

That peculiar sound was the one that called me to encourage me to be capable of learning to play as well. After that moment I decided to learn with her.

> After a week of practices, which were complicated because it was very difficult for me to hold the bow well, she called me to do the paperwork to request the loan of a Cello. I must confess that it was somewhat difficult for me to try to get the money for the small fee that I had to contribute for that loan, but after so much I managed to bring the instrument home.

> The moment of selecting that instrument meant a lot to me, since I felt that I had a part of me that I could express in sheet music. Speaking of sheet music, I still find it difficult to concentrate to read the sheet music well, I know that I should strengthen myself more with that.

En tiempos de pandemia se me había hecho fácil más aprender a tocarlo, pero a su vez era algo complicado aprender sola pues mi profesora no podía ir a casa a darme clases y ella es una de las personas que les teme a los gérmenes, así que el tema pandemia nos limitó a vernos en su casa o en la mía.  Entonces recurrí a los videos de Youtube, todo iba bien, hasta que se reventó una cuerda…

 La cuerda **LA** precisamente. Eso me limitó bastante a seguir aprendiendo, pues en aquella casa de la cultura, no había cuerdas de repuesto y yo en ese momento no tenía como pagar para comprar las cuerdas.

Tristemente después de la pandemia tuve que entregar el instrumento, pues yo había comenzado a trabajar en un empleo que jamás pensé que tendría y mucho menos que me quitaría tiempo para ensayar. Tenia cómo comprar las cuerdas, pero no tenía tiempo de ensayar (ya que en mi trabajo me toca quedarme en casa ajena) los tiempos que me estaban solicitando en la casa de la cultura y menos para asistir a las clases presenciales, así que me solicitaron entregar el instrumento y… tristemente lo hice. Después de todo, no era mío. Nunca lo fue, pero lo que si era mío era saber que ese era el instrumento que yo decidiría aprender a tocar. Me propuse que ahorraría para comprarme uno y así aprender por mi cuenta, a través de los vídeos de Youtube se puede aprender solo debes tener constancia y pues tengo a mi profesora de violonchelo que, ella se ofreció a darme clases en su casa, ella estuvo en desacuerdo de que debía entregar el instrumento ya que yo al menos le daba uso. Ahora ese instrumento esta guardado junto a los demás sin uso alguno.

> The string **LA** precisely. That limited me a lot to continue learning, because in that house of culture, there were no spare strings and at that time I had no way to pay to buy the strings.

> Sadly, after the pandemic, I had to hand over the instrument, since I had started working in a job that I never thought I would have, much less that it would take time to rehearse. I had a way to buy the strings, but I didn't have time to rehearse (since in my job I have to stay at someone else's house) the times that they were requesting from me in the house of culture and even less to attend the face-to-face classes, so they asked me hand over the instrument and… sadly I did. After all, it wasn't mine. It never was, but what was mine was knowing that this was the instrument that I would decide to learn to play. I decided that I would save to buy one and thus learn on my own, through Youtube videos you can learn, you just have to be certain and well, I have my cello teacher who offered to give me classes at her home, she was I disagreed that I should hand over the instrument since I at least used it. Now that instrument is stored with the others without any use.

En fin, esta experiencia me mostró que ese es el instrumento que estoy destinada a aprender a tocar y sé que si reúno podré algún día aprender más tocarlo mejor. Y que a pesar de trabajar sé que podré dedicarle al menos dos horas diarias, sólo debo tener mi propio instrumento y así sentir de nuevo aquella sensación de satisfacción que tanto me encanta.

> In short, this experience showed me that this is the instrument that I am destined to learn to play and I know that if I get it together I will be able to learn to play it better one day. And that despite working I know that I will be able to dedicate at least two hours a day to it, I just have to have my own instrument and thus feel again that sensation of satisfaction that I love so much.
