Hola, hoy quiero contarles como han sido los primeros días desde la llegada de “Tortu” la mascota de Paula, la cual es una tortuga (Morrocoy) que le regalaron hace unos pocos días. Para serles sincera me daba mucho miedo el saber que Paula tendría una mascota como tortu pues ella a es una niña muuuuuuy imperativa (y tremenda jeje) le gusta jugar con todo y hacer desastres, y la llegada de tortu me causo muchó ruido.

Pues, me ha tocado cuidar no sólo de Paula, si no de la pequeña Tortu ya que Paula ya le perdió el miedo y ahora debo estar al pendiente de que no la ponga boca abajo o haga algo que la lastime. Le he estado explicando cómo puede cuidar de ella y mantenerle limpio su espacio y que debemos bajarla al jardín todos los días para que pueda caminar y salir del encierro, ya que Paula vive en la casa de arriba y abajo (que es la casa de su abuelo) está el jardín. No la dejamos directamente abajo porque aún está muy pequeña y nos da miedo que le pase algo.

I have been explaining to her how she can take care of her and keep her space clean and that we must bring her down to the garden every day so that she can walk and get out of the confinement, since Paula lives in the house upstairs and downstairs (which is the house of her grandfather) is the garden. Me da ternura ver como Paula se toma a pecho el tema de cuidar de su mascota y quererla, pues mientras yo limpiaba donde tiene a Tortu, Paula se sentó a un lado de ella con un libro en la mano y me dijo que le contaría un cuento para que ella no sintiera miedo (Awww, esto de verdad me dio mucha ternura 🥰).

> It makes me tender to see how Paula takes to heart the issue of taking care of her pet and loving her, because while I was cleaning where she has Tortu, Paula sat next to her with a book in her hand and told me that she would tell her a I tell her so that she would not feel afraid (Awww, this really gave me a lot of tenderness 🥰).

Llevé un susto porque salí con Paula a la cancha mientras dejamos a Tortu en el jardín, el abuelo de Paula se ofreció a cuidarla mientras salíamos. Para mi sorpresa al regresar de la cancha la tortuga no estaba en el jardín y Paula y yo andábamos preocupadas porque nada que aparecía, lo más gracioso fue que el abuelo de Paula me dice: “Ay, yo no sé” (después de que me dijo que estaría pendiente). Bueno, Paula no dejaba de decir “¿Dónde está Tortu?” y yo angustiada hasta que por fin apareció la muy sin vergüenza, estaba oculta debajo de una silla jaja. Aprendí mi lección, para no dejarla así sola en el jardín y vigilarla.

> I was scared because I went out with Paula to the field while we left Tortu in the garden, Paula's grandfather offered to take care of her while we went out. To my surprise when I returned from the court the turtle was not in the garden and Paula and I were worried because nothing that appeared, the funny thing was that Paula's grandfather told me: "Oh, I don't know" (after I said it would be pending). Well, Paula kept saying "Where is Tortu?" and I was distraught until finally the very shameless one appeared, she was hidden under a chair haha. I learned my lesson, not to leave her like this alone in the garden and watch over her.
